He is much slower than this, or was when he was with us on loan.

Yes, I support Preston.

He does have a bit of pace, those speed stats aren't exactly flattering him. As for attack 80, he has good positional sense, probably one of his main assets.

The hair is simply criminal. If i were prime minister, I'd have invented a punishment for this hair involving scissors, fire, and severe eye poking for the offender.

Cracking header against us. He turned the game in their favour when he came on. That could be the goal that gives Newcastle a new lease of life, or they might just carry on being shit, who knows.

He was the biggest threat to our backline and that's saying something given they had Michael Owen up front all game.

He seems to get good power on his headers even when there's not much pace on a cross he can generate the power himself. He scored a goal pretty much similar to that earlier in the season, can't remember who it was against. In general he just seems to be a good headerer(is this a word  ) of the ball. Doesn't look too right to me that he's 2 below Gallas/Sagna/Toure and 3 behind Berbatov.

Rodney Marsh: "Crikey Alf, at Manchester City all we get is an orange and a cup of tea."

Defence: 38

He tracks back quite a bit and packs quite an accurate tackle, I'd personally have him on 44.

Balance: 81

Andy is a tank and challenges nearly everyone and certainly isn't as weak as this. He should have a value of 86.

Dribble Speed: 74

He doesn't lose that much pace on the ball.

Header: 81

Has both a great jump and header, both defensively and offensively I'd give him an 84 for Header and a value of...

Jump: 79

81 for Jump.

Aggression: 82

He makes a lot of attacking runs and gets forward a lot more than an 82 would suggest.

Mentality: 74

Whenever I've seen him he tracks back, challenges players and carries on throughout the game. He give's his all every game and could easily warrant a 10 point jump in Mentality.

He's pretty average yeah, but he's a hard worker, tracks back, decent in the challenge, good in the air and pretty strong too, although his positioning is still questionable.

Slight raise in a few things, was being conservative a first as he hasn't really proved himself enough, although I think agility may be able to come up even higher.

You do know that I'm not entirely for that centre-forwards for sliding thing, as many of them just become to good of tacklers, due to their high response value, however seeing as Carroll doesn't exactly have a high response value, I am more than willing to update if enough people agree, but I'm not going to do either at this stage, without further testing. Also, my copy of Fifa 10 has come, so I will be trying that out in a minute, see what it is like.
