Stankovic is by no means fielded as a DM...

You're right, I was thinking about Zanetti.

Does this look better?

i need to know something:
do we share that the Left Sideback should play with the forward arrow?
because i settled Inter in that way,and Chivu got subbed every game cause he hasnt enough fuel in tank.

but that could be addressed in his aggression stat. for example, when maxwell or zanetti played there the left SB role was a pushing forward one.
imo the best thing to do is to keep both SBs with the arrow and take down a bit Chivu's aggression(if is possible) and even combine this with a point in his Stamina.

-Center Attack
-Counter Attack

Sneijder shouldn't have those arrows pointing to the left and right in this formation. Not when he has Eto'o and Balotelli on the sides.

He's, like Rfuna said, always moving around, going to the sides and everything, I think those arrows should stay.

so am i supposed to use this formation??

or do i use the 4-4-2 formation (the original one). and also, if i go with this 4-3-3, does that mean that balotelli is a WF or a ST?

added second, and most frequently used formation.

Also I think 'switch sides' instead of center attack so that Eto'o, Pandev and Balotelli alternate.

About second formation, I would put Pandev instead of Balotelli. Since when Pandev arrived he played very often and it was also thanks to him that Mourinho is using that formation often (if I'm not wrong the first time was in first January match against Chievo, when Pandev came) also in big matches like Champions League ones.

I'm also thinking this new formation can be in first place, swapped with the "old and prudent" one. But I believe we have to wait Barça matches to know it.

EDIT: not that Mario seems to be gone, Pandev is surely the first choice. After Barça first match my idea abut 4-2-1-3 as main formation is more strong.

If I can add some details to first post, I wanted to add "FK 2nd Taker: Goran Pandev" (I'm not sure, but he scored against Milan so I believe he's our second choice, in front of Eto'o and Maicon) and "Players to come up on set pieces: Walter Samuel, Lucio"

Maybe i'll trade Center attack with Total defence, for some formation.

I made an update to reflect Leonardo's first ideas: to be precise, I exchanged Motta & Cambiasso, put Pazzini ahead of Milito (thanks to Milito's bad form, in future we will value this case better) and Ranocchia as CB as secondary option (I think it's disrespectful to Samuel to remove him (without the injury he's the starter).

There is an error in the first post in the 4-4-2.
Indeed, the DMF is Cambiasso and the LCMF is Thiago Motta ;)

You can be right, I was not totally sure about it, and the fact that Leonardo is rotating more players (like Kharja or Stankovic) is not helping, however I exchanged them back to their classic roles, thanks for the note :)

no. it was right how you had it. motta plays in the dmf role as the distributor and cambiasso on left cm. thats how they will play if everyone is at max fitness. i'd rather it be the other way around... but thats not how they play under leo.
