i haven't saw him playing but his passes are that bad for being a AMF that take control of the midfield or is he runner and dribbler?

I have his passing stats slightly higher ingame, he needs to justify them first which he hasn't really

I don't rate him anything like that really.
Firstly he can have CMF as well as AMF. I'm 50-50 over whether this should be his registered position as well tbh.
Defence seems a tad underrated, he can make a few tackles and 50 makes him lower than players who don't really help out defensively at all such as Silva and VDV.
I don't think he's that strong yet, I would put him on a high 70's value.
He's nowhere near that quick, infact he's pretty slow. I'd give him something like 77/78 in both speed attributes. Agility seems a touch too high as well.
Passing is underrated, it's the main facet of his game and the current values make him worse than most centre forwards. I'd give him high greens.
He could probably get a few more tweaks but I would have to watch a bit more of him before I could decide on values such as teamwork and aggression.

He should definitely have the two positions. Personally I'd have him as a registered Central Midfielder.

Disagree, I think Stus rating is fair. He definitely has some presence about him and an 80 isn't exactly overdoing it for someone of that weight I don't think.

Strongly disagree! I'm really surprised you think that. Everytime I see him it always shocks me just how quick he is for someone of his physique. It's the main thing that's made him stand out for me everytime I've watched him. Looks as quick if not quicker than Gerrard to me.

Agree. The passing stats are far too low. He has no problem passing the ball about in midfield. Obviously age and experience has to be taken into consideration however not to the extent of giving him worse passing stats than your average Centre Half. High 70's sounds about right to me.

Agree. Although I don't think there's anything stopping us making a very decent set for him at the present time

I know it's nothing much to go on but it's a decent example of Jonjo Shelvey's capabilities.

It might only be one game against League One opponents, showing nothing of consistency or on the big stage but, particularly with regard to the passing attributes, it shows his ability to find a target.

Maybe these can be moved to his own thread - could the stats posted not be used as a base? After all, he's played nearly 50 senior games for Charlton and is getting regular appearances under Kenny Dalglish...now is the time to present a base and let us work from it based on his appearances?

As I've previously posted, he's nearly 50 first team appearances for Charlton under his belt and, since Kenny's arrival, he's come on as sub in 6 of 7 matches (unnamed for the most recent match however).
