I also was thinking about something strange about Formation in first post (about Cahill CMF). Your formation is right, I only have doubts about Kewell as CF. Kennedy played a lot, so I would put at least "CF: Kewell / Kennedy" because it will be hard to remove Kewell, what do yo think?

I was thinking the same thing but thought that it might look a bit messy in the first post. Kewell gets injuried that often you need to have a permanent back up for him anyways.

Edited my formation above ;)

I haven't been able to find anything 'official'. The numbers do look likely though and I found the same ones on this site: http://www.footballsquads.co.uk/nationa ... wc2010.htm

Edit: It's been confirmed that those are the official numbers: http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/teams/team ... dlist.html

Craig Moore should be listed as unattached, Michael Beauchamp should be list with Melbourne Heart and not Al-Jazira.

Is Galekovic the new third GK?

I updated the formation, putting Valeri instead of Grella. Valeri played 3/3 games, while Grella played only the first one.

I think the stats of the majority of the players are overrated. I've been playing Winning Eleven since 2002 on different versions and this time the stats of Australia are way too good for them in comparing to their actual abilities.

I think most of the players should be reduced. For instance, Kewell's body balance should be reduced by a few points although it's still at 78, and Cahill's body balance is too much. He's small and that's why he was given the nickname Tiny Tim and there is absolutely no reason for his body balance to be edited more than 83. True that he has an incredible pool of stamina. Body balance at 85? No. Absolutely ridiculous. It should be at any less than 81.

That goes the same to Bresciano and Culina. Seen their World Cup performance. In comparison, the stats here are way too much.

To be honest, I had a tough time using Spain against Australia in the highest level. I also put them on auto-play, which means bot Germany vs bot Australia and the game ended with a penalty shootout, and Australia wins 4-2. This is silly, I think. I think someone should come out and have these stats rebalanced once again.

Their stats are way too overrated. It needs a change.

Don't post it here. Go to the player's threads and post your suggestions.
Currently working on: New Zealand squad for World Cup.

I'm not an idiot. I know the rules of the forum.

I'm pointing out the stats of majority of the Australian players here. That's why I posted here instead and don't expect me to copy paste the stats one by one on every player's stats. That's why you have the formation and stats tactics thread here.

There needs to be some updates.

Scott CHIPPERFIELD, Craig MOORE and Mile STERJOVSKI have retired.

This is the wiki site: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australia_national_football_team#Current_squad
Which is more accurate.

They've used tall man like Viduka or Kennedy as CF. Now McDonald is called but Kennedy. Very interesting 8-)
