Name: Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior

INFO: (Outdate)
Spoiler: show
After joining the squad in 2003, Neymar eventually made his Santos debut against Oeste on 7 March 2009 in a 2-1 win at the age of 17, Neymar's next appearance was against Mogi Mirim a week later, during which he scored his first goal for Santos. On 11 April 2009, in the 2009 Campeonato Paulista semi-final first leg against Palmeiras, Neymar scored the decisive goal in a 2-1 win at Estádio Vila Belmiro. In the final however, Neymar failed to perform to his full ability, and Santos crashed out to Corinthians in a 4-2 aggregate loss.

Neymar's performances for Santos and his likeliness to Brazilian idols such as Robinho and Pelé, the former who he currently plays alongside at Santos, began to attract interest from many clubs such as Manchester United, Internazionale, Real Madrid, and Manchester City, with Real Madrid even going as far as to claim that they had signed a pre-contract agreement with Neymar's agent, Wagner Ribeiro, which Santos fervently denied. Following this, Santos slapped an asking price of €30 million on the player's head, and tied Neymar down to a new contract lasting until December 2014. Neymar himself said he didn't think it was time to leave Santos, and that he was only focused on the club.

On 15 April 2010, Neymar scored 5 goals for Santos in a 8-1 routing of Guarani in the round of 16 of the Brazilian Cup. Following the 2010 Campeonato Paulista in which Neymar scored 14 goals in 19 games, the club were crowned champions after a 5-5 aggregate win over Santo André in the finals. Neymar was given the award for the best player, due to his brilliant performances in the competition. His debut in NT was in August in a 2-0 victory against USA, Neymar also scored the oppening goal. In 2010 he scored 36 goals in 54 games.

In 2011 he was called to play Sulamericano Sub-20 in Peru.

well guys,

make realistic updates ! don't make him somewhere in GOD region ;) .

he is a great talent but it doesn't mean he should have all the cards and higher values in every region!

he hasn't prove anything in the international level yet.

what i feel pato has much quality than neymar but he is underrated .

he is good in speed and dribbling, but yet to prove his stamina and mentality against tough opponents and conditions .

once players like robinho, pablo aimer, saviola these guys showed great quality in their early stage but now are they in the same level anymore!

so relax and wait, the values he had is enough. just wait to see him in highest level than you may update him !

i would say him exceptional if he can show consistency in the highest level , if he shows strong mentality in tough condition and can win things for his team with his own magic and quality.

what i feel he gained higher stats quite easily in very early age! he is quick, he dribbles well doesn't mean he became match winner !

vamos arriba la celeste !

As I have said before, I strongly disagree with Attack, SA and ST.

well for me i've updated him in my of with:

SPA: 74
SPS: 77
LPA: 76
LPS: 77
SP: 81
ST: 79
CUR: 80
TEC: 87

and imo he fells more like Neymar, but its only minor changes, and about Pedala's suggetions, i dont think TS/ACC 89/93 or 90/92 will be so different, so i'll test it, but comparing with pato i could agree.

I can agree with you japa, but I'd keep his Shooting stats as they are. Also regarding Pedala's suggestions, I'll be:

TS: 89
ACC:93
SPA: 74
SPS: 77
LPS: 77
CUR: 80
TEC: 87
AGG:90
WFA 7
WFF 7

Was really skeptical of an 18 year old being this good. Figured the brazilian mods over rate their talents. Been hard to get matches.. but I got two or three and after seeing him live today he looks very well rated. Really good stats, I have total faith in all the young Brazilians with world class stats being rated well now. Like ganso/neymar/hernanes etc after witnessing hernanes and neymar alot more (both who I thought were over rated) doesn't matter that they don't play in europe, their abilities are undeniable. I think you should restore ganso's passing values to what they were originaly. I belive you rated him correctly and he was nerfed unfairly.

It takes a lot of class to admit you were wrong. I applaud you for this, Jurgens. You've got my respect for that.

Makes me really proud, thanks jurgens. Is really nice to see that there's guys that still trust our works, even more being it on PSD, where everyone seems to think we (brazilian members) are dumb.

Actually i'd raise his DA to 90. There's not many players in the world, no matter the age or the league, that can control the ball like Neymar does. He is nothing short to players like Quaresma, and probably Robinho too, in DA.

IMO we could even raise it to 92 (-1 than Robinho) and I'm seriously considering *Speed Merchant for this guy.

I'm not disagreeing, but I think it's too early to give him a value over Aguero, so close to Robinho yet... I mean, I'm not denying his amazing skills with the ball. I just think he's more of a agile/explose player than a player who dissaseamble defences with JUST close control. I still see Robinho really over him on this aspect. At most, I would agree with a 89 for now, but it's just one point. On other hand, DS can be decreased by one point. I'm basically suggesting a switch on DA/DS.

well thanks for these words jurgens, i'm proud to hear that u trust in our work, when most members think he cannot rate a player just because he isn't in europe ;)

about neymar, i could agree with switch DA/DS, its only +1/-1 ;)

I don't wanna sound like overconfident with the brazilian mods, but Brazil is the country that raised Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Romario, etc etc, just some classic names that everyone of us remembers and has seen, just not to go deeper with names from the 60s or the 70s, and my point is that brazilians know what they see & what they say coz all of these legends are seen in their first steps by these guys, before making history in some european club.

So these 2 mods along with the entire brazilian nation have to have some reason whatsoever to be so enthusiastic with Neymar and Ganso.

If some german, english, italian, etc player would be rated with these stats in this age , I'd make sure to see all of his matches to believe it, but when it comes to brazilians... It's a different matter.

I think his ST should be +3 or +4. Look at his goals grat part shooting in hard angles. also his goal on Santo André is appoited in the puskas trophy.

Teams: Santos, Barça, Milan.
Present-11: Messi, Neymar, C. Ronaldo; Xavi, Iniesta, Y. Touré; D. Alves, T. Silva, Piqué, Marcelo; Casillas.
