He is off form and unable to adjust to a new league. These stats are based on his time with Zenit, Dynamo Kiev and Urkraine NT. That would be like Arshavin coming to Munich and not having an impact and lowering his stats dispite doing it well for many years.

Honestly this is a tough call. Because with these stats he should start, and as a fan of his I am shocked that he isn't making an impact. But I am still very confident in the player he was, and hope he figures it out in his limited time left in Germany.

Come to Fiorentina please!!

I doubt Fiorentina can afford him ;). We also have to take into consideration that there is no real, solely defensive minded DM used in the system Bayern is playing, which makes it even more difficult to rate him accurately. Schweinsteiger and Van Bommel both take an active part in the offense.

His (and the coach's ;)) main problem seems to be that he does not really contribute to the offense. Therefore the first aspects I would update are his ATT (69?), TW (mid 80s) and AGG (below 70). Additionally his passing never seemed as outstanding as it currently is. The current passing stats make him the best (!) player in passing of the whole league. Furthermore I would delete CM and lower his BB to 81 as he was outmuscled not only once since he is playing in Germany. Also I would delete Talisman/*Playmaking.

He was in the Euros but I didn't follow them in UK qualifiers. At times like this I wish Red_Phoenix was on the site. He is a wealth of knowledge for the Ukrainian players.

Probably Helios would be the best person to ask....then maybe Re-Arranged.

I'd definitely PM them before doing an update.

Tymo at Fiorentina would be awesome, i think he'd really fit in well.

Regarding an update I'm not against one, although i personally haven't seen enough of him to give my two cents. It's pretty hard when the majority of his appearances of late have been as a substitute. It's a shame that he's not getting a look in, as i think even if Van Gaal switches to a straight 4-3-3 next year, Tymo would be still used sparingly. I saw a story not so long ago on goal.com (far from the most reliable source in the world i know) saying a few russian clubs were interested in bringing him back to Russia, but Bayern have made it clear they want to keep a hold of him for now because of his professional attitude. Which i do believe.

His form at Bayern, or lack of it has proved that (so far) he's much better being a player who is in a league where he is against poorer opposition. I call this the Darren Bent syndrome.

Tymo has often proved that he is one of the best DMs of the world. We can not rate him. He has made just a few games, and when, almost never at his position.

of course he seems overrated if we watch our ladder. But the basic why I had closed the thread, was because on the set nothing should be done, cause he does not play.

This set is created by people like Anis and Jason. We should really keep our feets still, as regards changes.

Van Gaals argument for not playing Tymoschuk is that he lacks creativity (most balls he plays are easy, short passes) and gets the pace out of the attacks. He doesnt have the vision/guts to give quick passes to Robben or Ribery.

I am not sure how we could emulate this in the game to be honest.

Another thing I would like to mention are his current dribbling stats. I feel they both could come 2 points down (still reasonable numbers).

Van Gaal lately said that Tymo is really good in training and further is the best defensive midfielder of the team. But... he also said, that defensive midfielder aren't needed for his tactical formation.

I think we have to decrease both, TECh and DA. He needs more time to stop and pass the ball to another player than most of his teammates. The timing of his tacklings etc. is still awesome I thik, but his BB might be overrated a bit, too. His agility seems extremely poor for a 1.81m guy.

My changes would be something like this now. Please consider that despite some international matches I have rarely seen him playing before he came to Bayern.

ATT=71 (or even less?)
BB=81
AGI=75
DA=78
DS=77
SPA=82
TECH=78
TW=86

well in case he really doe lack creativity Playmaking has to go ... and probably TW is the most important thing to reduce ... it's a wast of talent for him to stay at Bayern if Van Gaal doesn't use DM's

TYMOSHCHUK, not TYMOSCHUK.

And he seems awfully overrated in many aspects.
