There are two ways to perform this trick. The trick is performed by players when it is a quick change of direction. However there isn't really a known button combination for this. However it is rumoured that it may be easier to perform if you do a drag back first.

S19 – Quick Scissor Dribble
Enables Quick Scissor Dribble.

pes.neoseeker.com wrote:Quick Scissor Dribble or Reverse Step Over is a skill in PES 2010. To perform the trick, when facing --> press RIGHT and then DOWN. It can only be performed if you have the card for it.

S20 – Scooping
Enables Ball Scooping.

pes.neoseeker.com wrote:Scooping is a trick and a card used to chip over an oncoming player most commonly when they are sliding towards you. It can be used effectively to then break away from the defence to try and score a goal. It is performed by pressing DOWN from the way you are facing and then quickly pressing UP from the way you are facing.

S21 – Super-Sub
Improves player’s ability when introduced late on in the game

talking about Gk i've a perplexity: keepers like Kahn or Banks work better with Defensive or Solely defensive? and for the same reason Grosics and Amadeo Carrizo need to have Defensive or balanced ?

which one is quick turn?

S14-Speed Merchant or S18-Turning Skills

to me s18 is ronaldo chop and s14 is quick turn by checking players who have one of them in both 2010 and 2011.

I think its both either Speed Merchant and Shoulder Feint Skills depending on the player.

Im using the 360 version and when you apply the option 'use prequel data' it assisgns all player stats you made from PES 2010 to 11 ( it saves alot of time editing players stats but it fucks up team kits when you use a new option file :( )

Ive noticed that all players that used to be assigned with 'Speed Mercant' in 2010 now have 'Darting run' in 2011 and those that have 'Quick turn' now have 'Shoulder Feint Turn.' Despite this I think the new Speed Merchant in PES 2011 is another Quick turn option for players that specialize in doing high speed turns when running. 'Shoulder Feint Turn' is just how well people do quick feints. An example of a player previosly assigned with quick turn in pes 2010 who should have shoulder feint turn but not Speed Merchant would be Andrea Pirlo.

I meant speed merchant is now darting run. Not that quick turn is darting run. Personally I think quick turn is darting run. Solely by the description though.

and I meant that Speed Merchant, as only its name, is still alive as an S Card. I know that Darting Run=Speed Merchant of 2010.

hm. actually I think Konami fucked up as usual. for making sure, I checked Drogba (you know that retarded Konami on giving Ronaldo chop to him), he has s18 and doesn't have s14 and s15 so I said that it's in the hand that s18 is ronaldo chop. after that I checked VDV and saw that he has both s15 and s18 so realized that s18 is not all about Ronaldo chop or maybe not R.c. anyway, let's check players and compare.

feints guide

S14 Speed Merchant ------- Enables Special High Speed Turns
S15 Shoulder Feint Skills -- Improves technique and precision when executing the Matthews Feint and the Upper Body Feint
S18 Turning Skills -------- Improves technique and precision when executing the Cross Over Turn

Notes: Matthews feint or upper b.f. is nothing to do with quick turn (check vid). Cross over turn=Ronaldo chop.

From default db:

Arshavin - S14
Rosicky, Nasri, van Persie - S15

Drogba - S18
Anelka, Malouda, Benayoun - S15
Kalou - S15, S18

Gerrard - S18
Joe Cole - S15, S18

Silva - S15, S18
Nani, Rooney - S15, S18
Vd Vaart - S15, S18

Ronaldinho, Robinho, Ibra, Pato - S15

Xavi, Iniesta - S15
Messi, Villa - S14, S15
Pedro - S15, S18

Ronaldo - S14, S18
Navas, Mata - S18

Schweinsteiger - S15, S18
Robben - S14, S18
Ribery - S14, S15, S18

s14 is so special, eh konami? :D

now, we need someone to write how those players' cards were shaped in 2010 default db.

btw, Overlapping Run and Deep Cover probably got out, didn't they?

Overlapping and Defensive Minded Cards are NOT cards in Pes 2011, If you go to the basic settings menu for any player, you now have "Attack/Defence Awareness" and they range from: OFFensive,BALanced,DEFensive,Solely/OFFensive,Soley/DEFensive. The cards are still present in that form.
QUICKTURN which is in Pes 2010 is an S-Card, and it is now called SPEED MERCHANT which is an S-Card in Pes 2011. SPEED MERCHANT which is in Pes 2010 is a P-Card, and it is now called DARTING RUN.
Also the new awareness options; does anyone fully understand how they affect players and who deserves what?

well, probably solved the quick turn issue.

s15 or s18 is nothing to do with quick turn. (check the explanations and video)

s14 is also not quick turn. just play with default Nasri (for example) and after that give him s14 and see the difference in dribbling way. it's something allows to do high speed turns but nothing to do with cruyff turn.

you know, quick turn is cruyff turn. I think it's probably assigned to all players in this game as quick turn is already an easy skill every player can do. it can be seen by testing it (for example) with john terry.

all in all, quick turn is no more a speciality.

i've try with a player like J. Moreno(cl. Arg),who is an SS with good DEF and also *chasing back : if i put him BALANCED(like his set said) he often come back for helping the SB or DMF. After i've try with SOLELY OFF: he stay only near his marker, without burn his stamina.

it's something like it gives more agility to the player especially while running and affects his dribbling style and yes you got it right imo.

btw, wright phillips, krasic, alexis sanchez, piatti, capel, tamada, donovan have this card, too.

.. and for example iniesta deserves it imo.
