Yep I like the player, but I don't like the transfer conditions, from the 1,8m for the transfer, Espanyol is close to pay 6m (3 from debt from Betis to Zaragoza, 1,8 for the transfer and 1 more for the debt from Betis to the player...).
Seems Sergio will resign to the 1m debt and Espanyol is negotiating with Zaragoza about the 3m debt, that's why the player isn't presented yet.
Otherwise, I prefer Espanyol will buy an experienced CB and a good replace for Moises Hurtado, rather than other forward, maybe this means Coro hasn't so much minutes, maybe he can leave the club this week.

He Isn't on the starting 11. He doesn't really start the game unless when Osvaldo was injuried. I'm not sure on how much he Is counting for the team but he didn't have luck with goals.. Xyder'll know more than me :S

He's been injuried recently, and considering he arrived when the season was already started, he still doesn't count as much as if he was there from the pre-season.

Luis García, Callejón, Sergio García... they're so similar players, taking in count Callejón great condition and Luis García is starting to go down, so IMO Sergio García will substitute Luis, but like as_10 said, he gets some injuries and arrive so late to the pre-season, so he needs more time to stablish himself in the starting 11. He has the conditions to do it, it's only time question.

I thought it too, something like 83-84, but I'm sure he isn't performing yet at his best level, maybe Osvaldo's injury and his first goal on La Liga (I'm sorry amenita) could help him ;)

I think he'll share minutes with Alvaro after Osvaldo's injury. Then we'll have a better view but yeah, I agree with you two.

He has evolved in his gameplay and regain his past condition, maybe he isn't quick as before, but he's doing a fantastic season, with goals and assists. The next week I'll try a complete overhaul.

Buff I'm feeling so lazy to explain the changes, but it's obvious he's probably the best attacking player of Espanyol, at least the most intelligent one. Probably deserve ATT 83, feel free to comment.
His DA, TECH and his passing skills have been impressive lately, like he did when he gone to the EURO '08.
Cut back pass is a must and Incisive Run it's suited for his Espanyol times, 'cause he isn't so sticky to the side like his Zaragoza and Betis times.
Excuse me if I made this update so fast, but it was really needed and I was playing with those values for some months ago. I hope do you like it.

He was fantastic yesterday. Very dangerous movements, nice speed and a few pretty decent passes. Gave Celta's defense quite a bit of trouble in the first half, but he looked tired in the second.

Gave a tough time today to Athletic CBs on the first half, but completely disappeared on the second half until being subbed. Looks to be the most competent attacker of Espanyol's squad, ahead of the likes of Simão, Pizzi, Stuani and Lanza.

We really need to get this guy up to date, he's been one of the league's best performing forwards for years, and goes mostly unnoticed just because he plays for a mid-table team.

First, the gif.

Image

That's just an example of the things he can do... he's not really flawess nor perfect, but he's very good when it comes down to these kind of flicks and tricks. I'd upgrade Tech to 87 or something like that, his trapping also tends to be great most of the time, just not flawess nor consistent enough to merit oranges.

I've been looking through Konami's sets. They did a pretty decent job with him back in 2011, but then paid him no attention for ages, and only updated some values lately. Which is kinda fitting, as he's not changed much, he's just begun to lose physique lately, specially in regards to stamina.

Attack needs to go up, to 85 I'd say. He's sharp, dangerous, moves smartly in and around the box, he tends to be well aware of his teammates positioning and that's what allows him to end up with a bunch of assists each year. Also his shooting is way better than this, IMO Konami nailed it back then in 2011, SA/SP/ST 84/78/86, perfect for him IMO.

What I'd do:

Attack: 82 -> 85
Defence: 48 -> 38
Balance: 77 -> 76
Stamina: 83 -> 76
Top Speed: 84 -> 82
Acceleration: 84 -> 83
Response: 82 -> 84
Agility: 84 -> 85
Dribble Speed: 83 -> 81
Short Pass Speed: 80 -> 76
Long Pass Accuracy: 80 -> 78
Long Pass Speed: 79 -> 75
Shot Accuracy: 80 -> 84
Shot Power: 81 -> 78
Shot Technique: 82 -> 86
Free Kick Accuracy: 72 -> 74
Curling: 78 -> 76
Header: 74 -> 71
Jump: 79 -> 76
Technique: 85 -> 87
Mentality: 83 -> 77

Add *Scoring and *Side

Delete the three orange cards, add Goal Poacher instead.

Low stamina is key towards accurately portraying him ingame. He's supportive and moves around, but always trying to keep his energy, and no matter what he does in second halves he looks really tired and barely moves from the central forward spot. Passing needs a general tone down, SPA can stay as it is but there should be a clear limit to what he can do, hence the need of lowering both SPS and LPS significantly. Ment 83 is basically a leftover from old standards.

Edit: also gave him a new pic... god I hate his stupid hairdos so much.
