i've honestly see only that match.
Probably a lot of italian serie A players are underrated in terms of speed.

I think Serie A players are generally quite underrated in certain areas. It's just seemingly impossible to get things changed in that section.

And you're right on the Speed front. It just becomes confusing when you read the descriptions of the players and find contrasting stats. I remember reading in Bovo's thread that he's a very pacy player, yet he only had green values. Either the stats are wrong or the description is wrong.

I've never really payed much attention to him, but he seems to me like a strong and rude defender(not dirty), excellent for defensive and physic teams like Sevilla thanks to his positional sense, but suffers in open spaces and speedy players. Also he's a very very big threat in the box with his jump and heading abilities, mainly in set-pieces.

After observing a few games of him at Arsenal I must say these stats are still pretty spot on. I have always like Squillaci at Sevilla and to see him play at Arsenal is rather nice. Only thing I can one thing though that he could use a boost in Mentality & Teamwork in the near future, well mostly teamwork.

Why, one of the most obvious aspects he has always had was a great sense of working with any defender he was placed along side of. Whether be on the national team, or Sevilla (especially Sevilla) he has never really allowed who he was paired with affect him. As a matter of fact who he has usually paired with always seemed to play off of him.

Just a few things I noticed, his teamwork rating is already good so maybe he needs to be raised or not we will see.

Positionally he's been poor, he's been weak in the air and he's been caught napping at times, I've given him some tweaks and am due to make Djourou better than him, which he is.

His DEF and RES really need to come down, he's been so poor. Arsenal's worst CB for sure. TW needs to come down a lot as well.. HEAD and Jump needs decreasing as well while his STA should also come down by one or two points. Can't come up with exact numbers as I haven't watched him closely enough but he's worse in those stats for sure. I'd remove Marking as well.
