Highly rated Slovakian who signed a pre-contract agreement with United in July 2009, making his debut in January 2010 to replace the outgoing Nicky Weaver, thus joining compatriot Maros Klimpl in the city of Dundee. So far the 25 year old has proved to be yet another outstanding keeper signed by former boss Craig Levein after Szamatoulski, Zaluska and Weaver.
His career began in his native Slovakia with FC Nitra, moving to ZTS Dubnica in 2003-04. He became a regular in the Dubnica line up for around three years and then moved to MSK Zilina in 2005-06. Dusan spent part of the next season on loan at FC Senec and then returned to ZTS Dubnica on loan for the rest of 2006-07 and all of 2007-08. On returning to MSK Zilina he became first choice there in 2008-09.
In August 2009, he made his international debut against Iceland in a friendly, coming on as a second half substitute.
