Marius Mitu was one of the best playmakers in Belgium where he was even considered for the NT after being consistently ignored by the romanian federation. In his best season he was the top assist man having provided 19 killer passes that consequently earned him a move from Lierse to RSC Anderlecht. Then there was a huge betting scandal where lots of players of Lierse were involved and Mitu was apparently inflicted in that as well which got him fired.
