This man seems a bit better in technique. 1-2 points more I think. He can control the ball and shot at the first touch good..

His Balance should be on 84, consider that Fano it's a little bit more stronger than Rengifo.

not oficial, but he oculd be going to alianza lima next season. source

maybe SA to 80. he places his shots pretty good and in the national team he didnt miss a lot of opportunities, plus he was the top scorer of the year playing for Peru NT.

Nah. I'm peruvian but I do not agree with SA 80, 79 is good, The only change I recomend is ST to 83.
Maybe we can add Positioning*, course that will be optional, but Rengifo has becoming very dangerous inside the box.

He mainly plays as a substitute for Michalis Konstantinou.. From what I've seen of him, he doesn't deserve better ATT, SA, ST than him. He plays a bit different than Konstantinou, he's good at linking up with his teammates in attacking situations, often dropping back to get a pass to provide an assist or find a better placed teammate to pass to, he's by no means a selfish player, he works hard and he takes his chances whenever he can, I would say that he has better TS, ACC, AGI, DA, DS, MEN, TW than the current values.

I want to hear opinions from Peruvian members who watch his games in the national team to avoid overrating him :)

PS. Regarding Konstantinou set, it's severely outdated, I posted some values in his thread but he got improved and worsened in some aspects since March when I posted them so don't take them in account, I've been working on a new set of him but it's not yet finished and I won't post it till the site's upgrade is done ;)

When I posted this, it was before the local derby against apoel(i think) where he played as a starter and since then didn't show any material to continue here, at least in my opinion!
He needs major decreases in many of his key-attacking stats, as well as shooting and heading etc. He didn't turn out to be a worthy substitute for Konstantinou nor a valuable player for the team, he struggles to score against any team in Cyprus often by missing the target or being way too slow to shoot/move and prefers to pass the ball to the nearest teammate just to avoid challenges or failing a shot.

@Battery: Previously, I was thinking for TW:78 with a bit higher SPA: 75, but i like the idea of TW:80(max for me) with SPA: 74 just to represent his constant passing in-game.

Have you watched him play for Omonia or Peru NT?

Well I was waiting for manolo to comment to these stats so I wouldn't underrate "Charapa". It's clear that he needs some downgrade in his stats and some boost to other stats so I will post my suggestions.

I'm only taking back what I said about speed stats, the others stand still.

My suggestions:

Spoiler: show
ATT: 80
STA: 81
RES: 81
AGI: 78
DA: 77
DS: 76
SPA: 75
SA: 77
ST: 80
HEA: 80
AGG: 83
MEN: 79
TW: 78
CON: 5(maybe even lower?)

Now, these are for discussion, as I quoted before I want to hear opinions from Peruvian members who watch his games in the national team to avoid overrating him and underrating him. I'm not sure about the STA/MEN combination because comparing him to Konstantinou who smokes and tires out relatively easy but can play 3-4 consecutive matches, Rengifo is better at STA and tend to fade away when playing a full match but chases the ball most of the time he plays. Thoughts?

Short explanation: Since Rengifo came to the team last term he proved to be a quality replacement for Konstantinou, often providing to his teammates with assists, building up the play and generally being a team player. But this season he's useless playing upfront at his own, he has no real killer instincts or finishing, when playing with another partner in attack he looks better due to rotation system, and has no quality to play as a starter, he's better when he's subbed in at the last minutes of the game.

Just to show some useless statistics
2010: (from January 2010, League, Cup)
13 games, 8 as a starter , 5 subbed in, 7 subbed out, 4 goals, 1 yellow card, total game time: 773 minutes = 1 full match

2010-2011: (League, Cup, CL)
11 games, 4 as a starter, 7 subbed in, 3 subbed out, 2 goals, 2 yellow cards, total game time: 509 minutes = 1 full match

Battery said, TW: 80-83 and i liked the idea of putting him to 80 max, more than this is too much in my opinion and i was thinking for TW:78 and SPA: 75

Ok, this is how i rate him from his time in Cyprus taking into account his current values.

Attack: 78
Defence: 43
Balance: 82
Stamina: 79
Top Speed: 77
Acceleration: 73
Response: 82
Agility: 75
Dribble Accuracy: 75
Dribble Speed: 71
Short Pass Accuracy: 75
Short Pass Speed: 74
Long Pass Accuracy: 71
Long Pass Speed: 74
Shot Accuracy: 76
Shot Power: 79
Shot Technique: 78
Free Kick Accuracy: 64
Curling: 73
Header: 81
Jump: 77
Technique: 76
Aggression: 83
Mentality: 76
Keeper Skills: 50
Teamwork: 77

Condition/Fitness: 4
Weak Foot Accuracy: 4
Weak Foot Frequency: 4

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
★ Post Player
★No scoring

PLAYER INDEX CARDS:
P19 - Fox in the Box

MOTION STYLE:

ATTACK / DEFENCE AWARENESS: OFF

A quick overview. Slow, actually he's anything that doesn't represent a CF. Since the start of the 2010-2011 season till his contract termination he offered very little to the team. He couldn't match Michalis Konstantinou class, not even the slightest.. Even Christofi is better than him in CF position also the mighty Papathanasiou does the job better than him among others. He was very lucky at scoring 5 goals in his 30 something appearances. Having said this he has only scored against low profiled teams in league cup games. Due to his goal drought and his severe shooting/shooting, etc.. he has been dropped back in the teams system, he's been playing something like a fake CF/SS to help in the ball movement in attacks.

Νote that i could go lower in ATT(77), STA(77), TS(75), ACC(71), RES(80), DS(70), SA(75), ST(75), AGG(82) but these would look way too drastic downgrades for PSD.

Trivia: He's nicknamed 'Charapa' (turtle) by Peruvians.
