I haven't seen hin in Romania, but for what he's showing at Stuttgart these stats overrate him clearly. Even now, when Gomez is gone, he's only striker No. 4 behind Cacau, Schieber and Progrebnijak - these stats make him one of the quite good strikers in BuLi. But the VFB and Marica is a great missunderstanding, he has done really poor for two years now. Lower these stats in nearly every aspect about 2 or 3 points and you'll get the Marica I know. he might be able to score great goals from time to time (like in the Videos PMC posted), but these are his "red arrow days" and very rare - in the normal case his finishing abilities (includning his ST) are under BuLi Average.

Maybe he can be (or once was) a completley different player in another club or for his national team and deserve these stats there, but here, for VFB, he's not good enough for them by far. Try him with these stats in the game, he'll be really dangerous, ver fast and with an average-good finish, scoring about 12-20 goals evers season - That's not realistic, and I'm quite sure it will never be for him (at lesat not at Stuttgart)

I think we can discuss some stats here but some are simply undeniable despite his poor ass goal record.

I definately disagree with a general downgrade of every stat unless we talk it through.

Off course I didn't want to say that we actually should lower all his stats for real, i just wanted to say that these would look more like the Marica i konw than the ones that are in the first post know... actually I would say his Attack, all of his shooting abilities, Speed and Accleration and maybe even Balance need to be lowered by at least two points. Imo something like this would fit him besser atm:

There are already some "key" stats that are quite bad for a striker, like his RESP for instance. I agree that we have to picture his terrible performances in Stuttgart somehow.

His TS/ACC may not be the correct stats we can change. So what about reducing ATT, TW, SA, AGG, maybe passing a bit?

theres no way I can see his balance being dropped... if anything it might be even underrated... he's a strong player and can surprise defenders. His acc. might be a notch too much as his topspeed... he's probably not quicker to accelerate than Bucur.

now... attack can be lowered because his positiong is quite average, DA, ST, Technique, Mentality and Teamwork can be dropped as well probably. Aggression is another good issue

he's a difficult one... his performances at VFB don't reflect his real qualities but I can understand the motives behind the decrease.

Yes, he improved under Christian Gross and now I think the values in the first post really fit, I'm just thinking about minor changes like DA/DS, Curling, Aggression and Mentality.

I personally just can't believe that Cacau and Marica should be sitting on the same value for balance. Cacau is robust but he goes deep to find room where as Marica is basicly supposed to fight it out with the CBs and searches the physical battle.

A few suggestions

Attack: 81 (78 seems so average imo..)
Body Balance: 82 - 83 (he's tougher than Mutu, Cacau and most strikers)
Response should be higher but not sure how much
Dribble Speed: 86 (oh he's fast alright, he's actually comparable to Costea)

I still remember the great match he did against Spain long time ago. The comentators making fun of him being homosexual but the dude proved them wrong.

wtf? Daniel has higher attack? Marica's positioning is far superior.
I don't even know why the first stats got decreased in the first place!

I will update ATT to 81. His stats have been decreased because in the past he did not show anything to deserve the stat he had.
