is really needed that SP 89? +4 Over Balotelli,+2 on Stankovic? His free kicks are a bit powerful, but for one like the 1 against Sampdoria an 89 SP isnt really needed, these are not 30+ Meters FKs like Snejder's(at 89 SP too).....also about his clearances, the 89 isnt needed...

weird that he didnt get any comment on how he ANNULATED Drogba yesterday. i don't wanna be a kind of polemic, but the Serie A and Premier BB ladder clashing in these CL matches.....imo do not showed a --> ( 176x83[88 BB] Rooney vs 183x74[84 BB] Bonera or 188x84[87BB] vs 188x88[94BB] Drogba ) real comparison at all.

Yes, 87 BB seems a bit low for Lucio imo. Maybe it would be a bad example but Mexes (BB 89, 187-82) is not stronger than Lucio, I think.

IMO it's more a ladder problem, cause i actually think that Mexes is stronger than Lucio when applying full pression.

I checked page 4, a month ago Rfuna announced an update for his BB @ 88 but he updated to 87 (maybe he did a mistake? maybe he wanted to remain conservative?). So we need to wait Rfuna to know what did wrong with this update.

About yesterday, I believe Lucio is one of those players who loves to play big matches. He can be good, normal or even sleep against lot of Serie A teams, but outstanding against Chelsea. Also against Barcelona he had a very good match. Probably it's related to his winning mentality or something similar

it's an interesting note.and actually true. well,i don't really think is consistency could go down to reflect that. 6 should be enough....but he really seems on fire vs smarter opponents...something that Inter 'legacy' REALLY needed.

Then, we should agree on BB 88?

reason was I don't consider him as strong as Mexes (BB @ 89, 82kg). Not only is Lucio heavier but he's also taller. That was my reasoning i believe.

THe real question is, why dos Drogba have such a high BB, he's a strong as Kroldrup at this point. In any case, did Lucio really dominate Drogba with sheer strength, or just outwit him with his "response", positioning and indefatigable will?

I really have to say that Lucio is the truth - there were many whispers before him moving to Inter that he wasnt that good and only liked to gallop forward.

I think that is all put to bed - he was bored in Germany and while he does come forward a bit much for me he is a stud ad in a way similar to Zanetti, when he needs to give that extra in a situation - its there.

Playing with Samuel makes it easier as well to be that bold.

It was more down to his response that he kept Drogba quiet, Samuel was the one who was overpowering Drogba, Drogba was just bouncing off him.

Considering his time at Munich his DEF can't be higher than now. He always equalled lacking positioning skills with his outstanding pace and power as well as really good tacklings. Of course, and probably first of all ;), also with his unbelievable mentality/will, which could be even orange from my point of view. But I haven't seen him playing for Inter since he left Munich... Remembering just his time in Munich his TW is IMO overrated, this and his passing were the reasons why Van Gaal did not see his "defender no.1" in Lucio. Unfortunately Sky does not own the rights to show Serie A :(.

With the current stats he is already a real world class CB with no weaknesses and far above abilities (on CL level!) in pace and TECH. If you would raise DEF and RESP even more he'd probably be too good.

He completely nuled Drogba. Twice. And has been showing signs of being one of the top defenders in the world. Surely needs an update.

Starting with S08: Sliding and S09: Covering.

Imo,his TW could go down at an 81 with Chiellini and Mexes, for the same reason i brought up in the F.Cannavaro thread, to replicate his style of play and how he finds the pass or do the clearance instead. also i think he's well placed in the italian BB ladder, and is Drogba the one with a too high BB value, cause the ivorian with 188x88 and 94 BB would be stronger than Lucio even on a not great day(let's put the CL double leg as bad days both, but IMO isnt really the case,Drogba didnt really seemed out of form like a blue arrow day) and that's not how effectively happened.

Somehow Mourinho finally killed the little guy in Lucio's brain who always told him to attack when this wasn't appropriate... No coach before succeeded in this :D. Impressive performances in the CL so far, in the league I can't watch him playing.

he still does but not as frequently. I think its down to his defensive partners though. He used to get yelled at by Cordoba and Samuel when he would run forward

He deserves 88 BB imo, yesterday he anuled Ibra in almost everything, specially in physical confronts and Ibra is taller and has 90 BB.

Pique as the same BB as lucio and is taller as well,.Lucio is stronger then him, I'm sure .

Lucio is arguably stronger than Pique.
