Roberto Alfonso Delgado seems to be among those spanish players who tried their luck in Italy but didn't really manage to impress there. He played a couple of games in Serie A and even got used in European competitions vs Partizan Belgrade and Middlesbrough for example, never really managed to cement a spot in the 1st team though and got loaned out to Potenza before he got released.
Delgado is obviously a well educated player having enjoyed the spanish and italian school but he's not as decisive as his attributes should make him out to be. He's a decent crosser and link up player, lacks a bid of pace but seems like a decent sidemidfielder for a team like Fc Vaslui who surely can do with a player of his experience in Europe.
