Kengo NAKAMURA

Postby Helios » 2009 Mar 16, 12:06

K.Nakamura is a playmaking midfielder usually employed by Kawasaki Frontale on the central midfield. His view can supply pass very widely over the wide range.

Besides passing, Nakamura is also an adept dribbler with determination and strength. He has managed to score through dribbling past defenses for his club. His goals and assists were instrumental in taking Kawasaki Frontale to the knock-out stages of the ACL 2007.

It's not quite that wrong, cause age of a player in PES09 is set on 31.08.2008 - the end of transfer window. So if you don't update all the players in the game, player you create can be 1-2 years older than all the rest. Only DOB makes sense here.

Well...I end up updating the age anyway. So might as well do the math to have the right age when anyone is posting a set of stats :P Just my opinion.

The data wasn't so unrealistic. He is a fantastic passer (like no other guy in Asia), he is able change the course of the game with a simple gesture : One touch-passes breaking through the most hermetic defenses. I was planning to raise his short pass accuracy to a 86 since he's clearly above Endo, Ogaswara & Ponte in that area, but what was my surprise to find his rating turned to a 82. (Slightly above average).
He is well placed to earn the prestigious award of the best player in Asia, his team is in a good position to claim the title and your update doesn't make him more realistic or closer to the real life one.

It seems like you suddenly lowered your standards by 3 - 4 points but we have a database to maintain and we must keep it coherent and logical. Sorry but you're off.

Updated bjkMelo's previous stats.

He has now a more suitable attack/defense ratio : he'd play in a more balanced way, efficiently alternating defensive and attacking tasks. Gave him the DM position as well. Consequently reduced his (ridiculously high) spd/acc but slightly raised his passing/dribbling skills, tweaked some other areas as well. Finally, the cards should make him play like the player he is in real life.

A lot of Asian football fans think he should have been awarded as the 2009 AFC Player of the year instead of Endo.
