Former Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder, Steven Thomson, signed for St Mirren during the January 2009 'Transfer Window' when he put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year contract.
The midfielder played for Crystal Palace and Peterborough before signing for Falkirk at the start of the 2005-2006 season. He left the Bairns midway through the 2007-2008 season to try English football again with Brighton & Hove Albion.
The midfielder made his debut for Saints in a Scottish Cup tie against Brechin City on January 13th, 2009.
