Mykola Ischenko, Illichivets Mariupol

(Consistency: 5)

He started his career at Karpaty Lviv. From 2006 till 2008 he played for Karpaty at more than 75 games.
Was a vital part of Ukraine under 21 national team. (24 games).
At 2008 was sold at Shakhter for 2,5 mill.USD. At Shakhter for 2 season played at 38 games (18 among them at Euro trophies competitions).
To my mind he is rather good defender, without any real weaknesses. During his staying at Shakhter his was always at second role to my mind. At 2008-2009 the main pair of central defenders was - Chygrynskiy and Kucher. He was first who could subsitude one of them. He could become the member of the main squad at autumn 2009, when Chygrynskiy moved to Barca, but Rakytskiy showed huge progress, and Ishchenko again become first in a sub.
About his position: he played as LB, when Rac was injured, and as RB he playd at Karpaty.

considering the high level of Shaktar I do sincerly believe that this guy could be possibly underrated.

i've not seen too much of this guy but he's never looked shy about dribbling a few yards into midfield to find a pass when i've seen him (did i see him subbed on once at dmf in a european game?)

based on that, and given his market value, i'd offer:

defence @ 79, maybe 80 (+4/5)
dribble acc @ 72 (+3)
dribble speed @ 71 (+2)
short pass acc @ 74 (+3)
maybe aggression @ 66 (+3)

To patrick88.
Defence - i agree maximum for +2. Kucher has 78. Levandowski has 77. (Despite it's not main position for Mariusz). Rakytskiy 78. Khacheridi has 77. So i think that Ishchenko a lit bit weaker than mentioned ones.
DA and DS - again with comparising with mentioned i think that 70 for both attribute would be enough.
With SPA and Agg i've nothing to deny.)))

that seems fair enough :)

like i say, i've not seen this guy more than a handful of times, you're bound to have seen more of him than me

i'm surprised kucher is only @ 78 tho, i'd have him at 80 at least tbh

So Defence 77 and DA & DS 70-71?

I asked because he's now called up by NT for next friendly matches & I couldn't think current set deserve it. Isn't he totally underrated like PMC also said?
I can't find his specialty in this set even with DEF;77 DA & DS 70-71.(EDIT; Short passing values 74 are good enough for CB.) Especially ATT;54 is too low for a *CB, SB player.

Yeah, that's right, he could use an overall update. But since I don't know him at all, I can!'t suggest anything...

Maybe one of our Ukrainian members could help us? ;)

All I can say is that I haven't seen a shitiest defender who was called for NT than Ishchenko in terms of positioning
