Well updated, btw I have any doubts here like Melano and Carranza's positions in attack, also Aquino could stay as "starter", dunno tbh till now. Imo Melano and Carranza used to play both as moving forwards, so suits SS but also they track back to defend, as the whole team LOL. Probably gotaa could help in here, never better in this team "LONG BALL TO COUNTERATTACK" huh? But it should be "LET'S CARE A SHIT ABOUT THE BALL AND KICK IT ANYWHERE WHEN IT COMES, WE'RE AFRAID OF THE BALL; LET'S GIVE THE BALL TO CARRANZA AND PRAY"

Add to that sentence "somehow, we'll have luck and get a lot of points by playing like this". Definitely Melano is more a kind of CF and should be sticked to the center-left side, in a more advanced position than Carranza. Carranza appears in both the sides of the field. Tha captain is Turus. And the first choice for CB should be Lollo instead of Rodriguez, but due to the constant injuries and physical problems ofthe first one (please change to IT: C), Rodriguez plays instead.

I don´t agree at all with Vikingo. With counterattak if I agree. But "LET'S CARE A SHIT ABOUT THE BALL AND KICK IT WHEN IT COMES ANYWHERE, WE'RE AFRAID OF THE BALL, LET'S GIVE THE BALL TO CARRANZA AND PRAY" I do not understand ... In the first 3 games of this championship Belgrano showed a great job of pressure and recovery of the ball in midfield, after attempts to exploit the game back outside with Velazquez and Zapata, against Colon was noticed more. I agree with Gotaa says about Melano and Carranza.

Actually is what I was saying, Belgrano is pressure and recovery of the ball...then they throw long balls, don't care to whom, could be Carranza, Velázquez or Zapata. What bothers me is they don't link up a shit, their defence must be one of the worst in terms of technique in last years in Argentina. They have their style but I can't bear their anti-football attitude most of time. They could win matches and points, but that's an awful football at least imho. Probably now changed a bit, but last season was even worse, that was a real awful team with all respect.

Against racing: First time even. The two teams arrived, but Belgrano was a little ball and went ahead.
In the second half, in the 19th minute kept belgrano least 2 players, racing from there took the ball and attacked much by outside, but could´t break belgrano´s defense firmly packed. Aquino and Mansanelli, endured the ball and gave two or three counterattacks. Olave and Velazquez, saved two clear scoring chances. Belgrano took the victory and Quiroga was man of the match. Pittinari Great game, and still playing great Melano, which I hope will make the stats soon.

Against Arsenal: A very bad first half, did´t find the ball, Zapata and Velazquez could´t keep the ball and show something on their side, Carbonero (Arsenal) was unstoppable in his sector and much complicated that way. Belgrano had two arrivals, the second in added time and was Pittinari´s goal, a counterattack. That first half was all for Arsenal, but nevertheless won Belgrano. In the second half was matched and Belgrano pressed more,Arsenal were left with one less player, began arriving counterattack with Melano especially, counterattack later finished him with the goal of Velazquez

I updated first post formation. @Magic10, good analysis, but for PSD's purpose, it would be much more useful if you tried to watch players' performances individually and not as a whole. If you can, it would be awesome so stats become better. One good way of doing this is choosing a few players and watch them with special care to see their moves, passes, speed, etc-

Chiqui Perez is in Boca, the new LCB is Lollo

i think that "counter-attack" is not the correct tactic for Belgrano. This team makes the pressing very back. Counter attack means that the team will press very up, and this is not the case of belgrano. is a very copmact and defensive team, but very effective too, the correct tactic should be "long balls" . generally have less time of possession than their rival.

Should be the pressure almost 15 or so? It's the way of playing i'd say or am i totally wrong?

The two strikers since a several games ago are Melano/Marquez, Aquino was in a very low level and when he had the red card vs Union, Zielinski has him in penitence, not even on the bench. And the RSB is Renzo Saravia for the rest of the tournament.

I used to think this before, but it's wrong. if is the pressing is high, the team recovers the ball easily and and the time of posession will be pretty high too. BUT if the team is defensive and you put a high pressing it will disorder all the lines... in other words that defence will be "gelatine"

A pressing of 15 is okay for teams like newell's, where the forwards are always pressing the rival defenders. Belgrano players instead of this, "put reverse", go back when is attacked, this makes the team very solid.

It sounds crazy but this is how it works, i could make this with all the teams, is not difficult

Something to correct, Lollo is the penalty taker, the short fk is Velazquez too, the long fk is between Àlvarez/Quiroga and the right corner taker is Carrera.
