Really his FKA is more impresive than Gignac's, Leroy's ... I see him on pair with Bastos (81).

When i see Gourcuff playing i see Zidane in his best days, his moves and his touches are similar to him But Zidane is Much smarter in playing which make him the best of #5 footballer in my opinion, And i wonder if there will be a new player has the potential of such a playmaker Zidane. cheers ;)

nonobus, just a question, is he that slow off the ball? I mean, even that slower than Iniesta to deserve a -3 gap? if not so, maybe we can increase TS and decrease DS, how about you?

I think he is not particulary faster than Fabregas or Sneijder, He can beat players with the ball at his feet but not with sheer speed.

ok there is one point where I really disagree and that is his DA. Yes he`s close with the ball, but if I take a view to a player like Elia who pass defenders with a close control and a lot of tricks (he`s on 87) I can`t understand why Goucruff should be on 89. Gourcruff pass defenders with a good balance and a fantastic first touch - but he isn`t so close like players like Joe Cole or Arda Turan.

can't agree more. I also believe Gourcuff isn't superior to player like Arshavin, Col, Arda or even Elia in dribbling. Comparing to players like Xavi, Iniesta or Pirlo 89 DA seems reasonable value but, in my opinion Gourcuff's DA shall not be rated higher than likes of Guti, Misimovic or Elano.

Do you not remember to the nice goal with a nice dribbling before of him one year ago? Elia combines his passing also with a lot of speed, whereas Gourcuff sets nice roulettes sometimes and overall has nice ball control. In my eyes he deserve such high value in DA, otherwise Van der Vaart should not have such high one either.

It only shows his great dribbling qualities, there are enough moments where he act like this and proof the fact he deserves a value near 90 in Dribble Accuracy.

otherwise, players like Arshavin and Arda shall get higher dribbling accuracy imo. I still think Gourcuff's "pure" dribble skills aren't that superior to players like Elano, Arshavin, Misimovic and Guti.

" Nevertheless, Gourcuff 's close control(dribble accuracy) is at least (more and less) as good as Juninho(and i think better than a player like Fabregas for instance). His slowness could not allow him to dribble past an entire defense(whereas players like Ben Arfa or Hazard for instance, can). So at first we could see his close control only as the one for players like Xavi(using it mainly for creating space), but actually he really can go on mazing dribbling run because he keeps the ball at his feet with ease and precision, and is capable of doing incredible actions(with zidane/Pirlo-esque close control): i can quote his goals against Toulouse, Le PSG,etc. He has both *dribbling and *tactical dribbling because he doesn't hesitate to take on several defenders(for fun) and is a totally tricky player: roulettes, stepover, quick turn, step-back etc.(as well before shooting or passing) "

Then comparing Gourcuff, with Elia and Arshavin looks tedious, because latters have got huge speed and agility unlike Gourcuff. Although i don't think both have better close control than Gourcuff. However the likes of Guti,Misimovic or Elano don't even come close to Gourcuff when speeking of dribbling.
Speaking of Ardan Turan, yes he has got a nice close control and is a fantastic dribbler, if you think his DA is as good or better than Gourcuff, then just raise it.
