He's way better than Tello, better than Cuenca and Rafinha. I like midnight's DA value, it wasn't necessary any decrease there.

He's a better dribbler than Tello, no doubt... but than Cuenca too? I have my doubts... I think Cuenca has a very good ball control, Deulofeu mostly uses his impressive combination of agility + speed to beat defenders. I'd actually like to see him playing in the top division before putting him over Cuenca in terms of pure DA.

Maybe it's Cuenca that needs a raise ?.he's obviously better than a 83 . . .
And i'm not sure that he'll integrate the First Team next year.so you can't wait until he does.
his SA isn't that bad too.i gave him 75 in my set.and i think that it's fair enough.

Watched him today a bit in the U-19 match. He's so good, and yet he's so, so selfish... could see a +1 increase to DA, but I also feel like RES, Ment and TW could go down a bit.

God even Capel has more game vision than him. At least he was born in the 94, can't blame him.

I'd say lower than that. Also would help him stick to the wing as he does. Could probably be on the lines of 65 or so. Maybe incisive run with It.

I didn't see the games, how played France ? especially Umtiti (regular first XI at Lyon) and Veretout (great young mieldfilders who play in second league)

They have eyes but cannot see; they have ears, but cannot hear; they have tongues, but cannot speak. They are like cattle.

I didn't watch the whole match... France played decently considering what they have, it didn't look like a very technically gifted team, but in terms of physique they were one (or two) steps over the spanish players. The french mostly went for high and constant pressure to try to disrupt the spanish passing game, it worked well during the first half (at least during the chunk I saw) but it became a bit less effective in the second due to fatigue. Umtiti scored at least once, not sure now. If I'm not mistaken at least two of France's goals came from set pieces, something this spanish defence seems to just suck at, a lot.

To be honest, Deulofeu did pretty much what he wanted once the french pressure started to vane, and if he hadn't been so selfish he could have easily created several clear goalscoring chances for his teammates. I'd say France were a bit lucky considering they scored the 2-2 in the 90th minute or so, and then the 3-3 in the last minutes of extra time too. But hey, it almost paid off in the end. Almost.

Updated BTW.

Yeah I recognize the two different policy about football academy in France and Spain in what you said. In France, academy are crazy and only take tall player and don't take a look at their technical abilities (they only want guy of 185cm at 15 years old :D ). In the other side, Spain only want technical player and mieldfilder and that's why they are better in youth teams. For example, some guy like Deulofeu can be rejected in France academy if he is too weak physically.

They have eyes but cannot see; they have ears, but cannot hear; they have tongues, but cannot speak. They are like cattle.

What do you think of his increadible Euro sub 19 played so far? Amazing don't you think, i think he will have several chances with Barça's first team this season, he is very fast and has a super DA.

What do you think of putting him 85/6 in DA, he is really good in it, and maybe 87 in TS, also there he is very good. I think that after the Euro under 19 final of this evening, he should have a general update, what do you think? let me know

We can take in count some tweaks, but a general update isn't necesary.

Hope this thread doesn't start to be fulfilled of fanboys with non sense updates, otherwise the thread will be closed, as you could imagine.

I think he'll keep playing for the B squad, he's still very green. May get a few chances in the case of injuries though.

probably one of the best young players of barcelona, with a very promising future...i agree with the stats but i think that his passes are quite better.I think that short pass acc should be at least 80 and long pass acc too.....with the other part I'm OK :D

His stats for Euro 2012 (U19):

Matches / Goals / Assists
5 / 2 / 3

Gerard Deulofeu (forward, Spain)
A member of the 2011 squad when La Rojita won their fifth U19 crown, this time around he was his team's most creative outlet, constantly switching from one side of the pitch to the other. When the FC Barcelona winger gets it right few players at this level better him, as he showed when cleverly setting up Jesé Rodríguez for the final winner.
