possibly his response, balance, agility and speed stats are a bit high in the updated escobar set.
response @92.... 92 in a standard day,84 in a possible quite bad day and 100 in a quite good day....so his reactions generally falling into the 83/84 - 97/98 response value... possibly connect as argument buffon on a (quite) good day (as tonight vs CEsena) has got the same response as a standard 09/10 Julio cesar Response....i'd disagree. agility in terms of double saves he was still good some time ago. but what about diving into low shots and ground coming outs ? he fails them a bit. and also has undoubtly lost strength! wouldn't say that he got 4 kgs,5 cms and +1 BB on Cesar....who's actually one of the best(or the best IMO) keeper in high coming outs (corners,crosses)...and if we brought him also KS(+6)...Buffon would be way better than him blocking these balls. but i rate cesar as an 87/88 BB.

updated with the last s-cobar's set that i tweaked in a few areas.....condition IMO should stay on 6 for the arrows thing of pes 2011. with 6 condition he'll be more likely to get some bad arrows...most of the credit to s-cobar btw.

in pes 2011, buffon is like a wall. he concedes only rebounds; that is, you shoot first powerfully, he spills it after a miraculous save then you need a stiker with high response, like inzaghi, to score the rebound.in pes 2011, his keeper skills is rated at 98.

i would like to drop his ks to 88-89 with response at 90 and defence the same or 91. if you watch him closely every match youll see he simply cant stop anymore long shots from the distance and usually needs two times to block the ball.. there's no more a great gap between him and the other serie a keepers.. i personally rate last season abbiati at 86-87, now hes not worth of these but its also a form issue. well, a 2-3 points gap seems enough between them. buffon 88 abbiati 86 handanovic 86 with j. cesar pending between 85 and 86..

Epsi, could i please ask you to wait with the current update until this big batch of big games ends, in the next 9 fixtures they have Genoa at home, Fiorentina at home, Inter Away, Napoli Away, Palermo at home, Lazio Away, Cesena at home, Roma Away, Novara at home and Udinese Away

Now as you can see in the 9 upcoming fixtures they'll play against ALL of the BIG teams in Calcio and i really think that it'll be a real proving ground for Buffon all then we'll easily see does he still deserve the stats he currently has or if the current update is a deserved one...

Maybe we should wait the end of the year, but if he continues on these levels, he will need a little update ;)

worng stuff here, valdes have been given high passing stats, whilst buffon is not as capable as valdez short passing, he is pretty good and the best in serie A, thus he have the higher passing accuracy percentage, wether long balls or short passes. He is very over the likes of stekelenburg and the same storari for wise. Not just because of statistics, but to the naked eye, buffon plays very good passes every game, he sure is the most clinical passers in serie A, even though theres no teammate available for pass, he just finds another one instead of long balling, talking about it, his long balls are also excellent, very capable in general for passing. This is what annoys me the most from storari, specially in comparision to gigi, he'll just destroy possesion with his 'having fear' long balls.

Not sure on numbers, but he is over any other keeper in serie A, and should sit among the best in the world also in this regard, given also the importance for the team of him good passing

good observation and I agree for most of it (Gigi is very cool in those situations and rarely makes a mistake), but I have to say somethin':
italian goalkeepers are worst when it comes to technique :). germans arent to good as well :). spanyards and latinos are the best.

yesterday he provided TWO key, essential, probably match winning saves against Udinese in the 1st half, too bad that currently on youtube there aren't full highlights just the goals...

we should really consider to increase the defence stat to previous 95 or something. he is the best GK in Italy, again ;)

well me neither and i was actually using him in my OF with DEF 96, RES 90 and GKS 92 BB 83 JUMP 83

i've got to insist here for a red value for DEF 'cause his movements and positioning is really unrivaled by any other keeper atm in the world he may not have the superman reflexes (on a regular basis) like when he was younger or the pace and dominating figure and presence in the box on aerial balls but his positioning and organizing the defence has remained intact.
