Honestly I think that he should receive quite an update in some areas, Response and LPA in particular. His defensive ability improved in current campaign as well.

He is in great form this season and in my opinion currently is in top five best left-backs in the Premier League.

I agree he is a lot better than these stats suggest, especially at defence.

Age: 26

Defense: 67

On par with Belhadj.

Response: 81

On par with Sylvinho and Ilunga. Seems fair. Would have no problem with 79 or 80.

Mentality: 77

Has improved since Harry has taken over.

I don't know about passing, so I won't comment.

I agree with your suggestions, although I'd go for 80 in response.

TW could also go up to something like 78, sometimes he plays some nice one-two actions with others and overally is a good team player.

As for passing I'd give him 73-74 for SPA and 77-78 for LPA.

Watching the match today, he seems to have quite a lot of long pass speed? Quite direct driven passing. I'm not sure what his current stats are like but it should be mid 80's for long pass speed I think.

I think he should be updated with the previous suggestions, he's been playing well for a long time and an update is well overdue

Yeah i noticed that. They werent lofty, he hits the ball direct and with pace. i'd say 84
And although he does have an awesome shot, i think its more about power than accuracy so SA and SP should stay the same

What the fuck was he doing today? You'd of thought he'd of learned his lesson the first time but no, he continued to try dribble out of defence with all these fancy flicks and turns and kept getting tackled! Even so, demonstrated some very decent agility, could probably come up a little bit..

Gonna look over the suggestions and hopefully update the first post soon!

Arguably one of the best left backs in the league, much better than Konchesky and dare I say it Clichy, improved so much over the last 18 months as has Bale, but obviously this lads been allowed to develop in the shadows of Bale. Lucky guy.

I agree entirely. You rarely notice him anymore, which in light of Bales defensive frailties, suggests he's been doing a bloody good job at the back! He definitely got better towards the end of last season, I wasn't convinced about him at first and was surprised that he'd suddenly regained his place in the side after seemingly being frozen out for what seemed ages (come to think of it he might have been injured, I really don't know) but these stats are no justice. He used to be a bit suspect for me and prone to stupid lapses, not that he can't make the odd mistake even now (see two posts above ) but he's generally pretty solid now. What do you have in mind stats wise?

No idea, primarily a raise in his defence, but anything could happen.

the only thing that is suspect with him now is his decision making, but that's has improved a lot, and when he makes the right decision, he defends well, when he doesn't he stills fucks up, but he makes the right decision almost all the time.
