My sugestions:
Acceleration: 89 make him on par with Arshavin
Dribble Speed: 91 on par with martin petrov and AGBONLAHOR

All of those players desperately need drops in their values, when we drop them should we drop Bale too?

Top speed has to be in the 90's surely, when he hits top gear he's virtually unstoppable. He needs a fair bit of space to reach it though so Acceleration seems decent.

That is a truly wonderful example of the pace of Bale. That site also has great explanations and breakdowns of how players run.

I've got Bale on a solid 91TS in my game and feel it is very accurate. You can see in that video that Bale has slightly better ACC than Sagna along with a significant increase in TS over him, as he is clearly pulling away over distance before Sagna falls.

TS 91(+3)

so what about his speed strats?
i mean, in the serie A we are updating Eto'o to a 91/92 TS and 87/88 ACC.....Krasic apparently around 92 TS and 93 ACC (not that i agree really)...
if i have to make a real comparison. i'll probably have to put Bale's TS over Eto'o and Krasic's(possibly). so aroun a 92-93 TS.
in terms of ACC i could possibly rate him slightly lower than Krasic but possibly in par with Eto'o considering that Bale is lighter.
in the end, i could rate Bale's DS with good certainity higher than Etoo's.....but maybe lower than Krasic cause Bale has a major 'punt and run' style, that maybe located in the DA area....but Bale's case is more about 'pressing L1 continuosly'.

Agree with that, I think his TS shold be around 92/93 as he is a bullet, if were moving Bales up I also think walcotts TS should be moved up to around 95/96.

Agree to 93 for Top Speed. In contrast to this, a low DS could do the work imo.

or R1+R2 while running and I'm sure you meant R1. :)

I think that 91 would be good for your TS.

My belief.

TOP SPEED:
Theo WALCOTT ----- 94
Gabriel AGBONLAHOR ----- 94
Gael CLICHY ----- 93
José BOSINGWA ----- 92
Aaron LENNON ----- 92
RIGA Mustapha ----- 92
Victor Nsofor OBINNA ----- 92
Gareth BALE ----- 91
Andrew JOHNSON ----- 91
Shaun WRIGHT-PHILLIPS ----- 90

I wouldn't put too much faith in those ladders as they are hopefully going to change substantially.

If you read through each player's thread, you will see that there are changes being proposed for almost every player in that list.
