Basically, because we're in 2009, and not in 1999

To be honest, I think we must decrease his Consistency to 2 or 3 (if Vassell has 1...). To me he's the perfect translation for the word "calamity". In every match he make a mistake, it's unbelieveble...

his response seriously needs to go down. so does KS.

its a shame his response is higher than abbiati and storari

Cons really works a lot into keepers mistakes.
imo he still needs an average-like value for Response like 84-85,
KS down to 81,and a cons value like 3 or 4

do you want to give him 4, like thousands of player in all the database?

I strongly think he deserve to become an "outlier", I never saw a keeper make that mistakes, he made more than 20 and in the videos there are only a few. I didn't saw Vassell, but I think Dida is probably the best option for a Consistency 2.
Thinking we gave Inzaghi a huge AGG value like 98, I don't see any abnormal thing with a poor value for Dida's Cons.

Hilarious... but I guess that, by doing a compilation of "bloopers", every goalkeeper will look clownish, as EVERY goalkeeper have his fair share of "bloopers". Even the great Júlio César had one in Flamengo where he was holding the ball, with only his defensemen not-so-close to him, and still he was able to hit the back of the head of one of his teammates with the ball, only to see it bounce back (not to mention almost Knocking out his teammate), and lob himself for an own goal...

But I guess that Dida has all this bloopers in a way shorter time span than the majority of goalkeepers. So I guess 2 for consistency is no absurd. I'd go with 3 though ;)

Yes, he started from 2005/06 but from 2007/08 he had his "peak" with funny mistakes (it's the same year when he died against Celtic), the fact is in every match he play he DO make a mistake, it's something scientific :?

I don't remember a streak of 2-3 games without diDasters in the last 3-4 years... I think a ladder-end value is needed.

with a 2 cons basically he would do a mistake every single shot.......don't know, maybe 3 is really the best choice? rating him well with a ladder-end KS and bad DEF,something little below average RES and below average AGI?

Yes, his current response at 92 is just absurd.

sorry for the italian..

anyway putting him at low-end of the keeper ladder seems reasonable and needed

Agree with a 2 in Consistency, this guy is like Barthez if he came in one of those lemon concentrate bottles.

Damn against Napoli he looked decent at times and made me rethink setting him to a Consistency 2 - which I think would be a new record for this database, has any player here before been given such a level? But I am still fully down with a 3 value. :D

But really if Dida does anymore comedy reel 'saves' this season I could go for a 2 on account of the frequency of them, it would no longer be attributable to incosistent play time or loss of confidence but I would recognize it as an undenible part of his game. As in the Napoli match once Milan went up so early and gave up the midfield to Napoli and began to be besieged - Dida still maitianed a confidence rise/boost from the Milan two goal lead and looked pretty damn secure in net for the entire first half.

About Response at 92, 2 points off Frey and Buffon, maybe rescale him to a Premier League player like David James who himself has pretty incredible reaction saves and is currently rated at a 90. I thought that the Englishmen would have been slightly higher but perhaps he has worsened lately :?: , any ways Dida still seems to have the odd reaction save in him (Cheivo one is the one influencing me  ), but with a 89/90 Response rating and a Consistency of 2/3 would that not be sufficent decrease, sort of some skill is their but inconsistently utilised? As if we start lowering Keeper skills, Response more along with Consistency he will be pretty much a joke keeper ingame - ..Okay I know he is one in real life but I mean it might be too much of a drop overall. Thoughts?
