Re: Manchester United FC- Squad, Formation & Tactics

Postby Vandeach » 2010 Mar 29, 15:35

That's not down to me, I have sent my thoughts to Jez, Alco, Paddy and Deity and I have had no reply. I would've updated, but I happen to know Gooner and Paddy are working on a collaborative update for him, it would be to me a waste of time and effort to try and produce a set of stats of considerable quality if there is going to be what I believe will be an exceptionally good update coming fairly soon.

I replied a while back Shaun, saying I wanted to wait until I saw the set from Paddy (and now as you've stated, Tom also) as I knew he was working on one so wanted to reserve comment until any set was up ;)

Alf Ramsey: "I'll be watching you for the first 45 minutes and if you don't work harder I'll pull you off at halftime."
Rodney Marsh: "Crikey Alf, at Manchester City all we get is an orange and a cup of tea."

This is getting rather annoying now. I sent Alco my stats with a description etc aaaaaaaaaaages ago, but he seems to have dissapeared off the face of the earth. He agreed to my stats but I havn't heard anything back from him since :|

Mate, if I was a mod I'd of got it sorted by now but I'm not so all I can do is wait for them to sort it out. Both Deity and Alco have got my stats now. I need to pm deity back as he had a few alterations in mind but yeah, sorry about the wait! If you pm me I'll send you mine whenever so that you have at least a reasonable update for the time being

ABOUT FUCKING TIME.

Matt James has stats in the Preston thread, and well, I can make stats for the rest of the reserves and post them in here, as they'd more than likely get deleted if I'd posted them in their own respective threads. Also, Mame Biram Diouf's stats have been posted in my thread on Evo-Web

Fancy doing Tom Cleverly? Sir Alex says he will be part of his first team plan next season.

Why aren't you allowed to post The One's stats here? :?

I'm not arsed considering Vandeach's deleted several other Manchester United players I've made. Sure, I'll give Cleverly a go eventually.

I do not know what more to write all these suggestions when the update was not, since only God knows and the progress I think it will not be soon.........and therefore why people do try to write something

Ive made a formation thread. It just has to be accepted by the prem mods first.

Standard Formation

Image

GK: Van Der Sar
RCB: Ferdinand
LCB: Vidic
RB: Neville©/Rafael
LB: Evra
RM: Valencia/Nani/Park
RCM: Fletcher
LCM: Carrick/Scholes
LM: Nani/Giggs/Park
RSS: Berbatov
LSS: Rooney

Champions League/Important matches Formation

Image

GK: Van Der Sar
RCB: Ferdinand
LCB: Vidic
RB: Neville©/Rafael
LB: Evra
RM: Valencia/Nani/Park
RCM: Fletcher
LCM: Carrick
ACM: Park/Scholes
LM: Nani/Giggs/Park
CF: Rooney

Captain: Neville
Vice Captain: Giggs
Vice Vice Captain: Ferdinand
Left Corner: Carrick/Giggs
Right Corner: Nani/Giggs
Long Free Kick: Carrick
Short Free Kick: Giggs/Nani
Freekick Taker 2: Rooney
Penalty Taker: Rooney

Not sure whether Park/Scholes position is classed as a AM or a CM in the second formation. Scholes has a medium defence arrow and no attacking forward arrow when he plays there.
