Spoiler: show
This world-class left-back looked a fish out of water shortly after signing in at Manchester United from Monaco in the autumn of 2006, but he quickly conquered his Anglophone demons and now needs no lessons from anyone. Adventure and dynamism personified, he has the engine to dominate his flank from first minute to last. The son of a diplomat from Guinea, he was born in Senegal. After his father was posted to France, the young 'Pat' was brought up in the suburbs of Paris, where got to know a certain Thierry Henry. On failing to make the grade at Paris Saint-Germain, the teenage Evra went into exile in Italy at lower league Marsala and Monza, then returned to France to star for Nice and Monaco. Evra was an out-and-out attacker in his formative years and only became a left-back when a spate of injuries forced Nice coach Sandro Salvioni to use him in that more reserved role. He has not looked back since and played in ten of Les Bleus' 2010 World Cup qualifiers.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

ThaReaper01 wrote:Why is his DEF and RES so low compared Clichy, Cole and Sagna?

O.o

Sagna has the same response as Evra, as does Clichy (which I don't agree with), and Cole is arguably the most rounded and best full back in the Premier League and is deservedly above him.

In regards to defence, Clichy obviously needs to updated, its pending though. Cole is better defensively, as is Sagna.

Howlers such as these spring to mind

So instead of re-evaluating his stats based on the 09-10 season, you go back to the 06-07 (His first season) and 08-09 seasons? Whatever suits you.

Are you saying that when I edited them on the 26th of May at the end of the 09-10 season that wasn't in regards to the season just gone. Ridiculous.

People on here are really strange, when looking at all the videos of the united players about who is the fastest valencia is always the one said to be the quickest but on here evra stats are higher than him when we can all see that patrice has clearly lost some speed due to his age unfortunately, lennon had always been quicker but at least before evra could still get away from him at times but now days he can't even do that,i would decrease his acceleration to 88 and his top speed to 87 as he is still quicker than ashley cole.

I'd agree to that drop in speed.

I've given him a slight update, added some cards, improved his dribbling so slightly and some other things.

the killer ability of this man to pass his opposite player that can do that many time is his so fast speed by ball, his acceleration by ball is even better without ball!! and no one can get him
so we should give him very high DS to simulate this style in PES so i suggest DS 89.

I feel his AGI is giving him the edge in dribbling quite often. His center of gravity is really low and easily changes direction, and together with his BB, dribbling skills and speed that makes him a great offensive thread as well.

Not forgetting the fact he's a fantastically tricky player who has a bag full of tricks.

can't see why he has such a high defense value. He doesn't look that secure defenivly, his speed seems to be much more influential to his defensive game than his actual postional sense or tackling abilities.

First and foremost, his DEF has got to go down. He's been dreadful with his defensive positioning for more than a season really. My initial idea is that it should probably be as low as 64 even. I know that's a big drop, but 65 is still a decent value for an attacking fullback. In fact I'd ideally go for a 63 I think. I'd also decrease his BB to 80 at least. He's been getting regularly beaten in physical tussles, often getting knocked down. He's simply not that strong.

His LPA could go down a point further to 75. His crossing is dreadful, and consistently so. LPS too down to 80/81. His SPA however could come up to 75/76, as his short passing game is more reliable and he plays some passes that aren't entirely basic.

I'd raise his ATT to a 78/79. He's really very, very good at getting into excellent attacking positions. His problem is that when he gets into good positions, his crossing lets him down.

Agree with most of your suggestions but I just can't see him over or on par with Ashley Cole when it comes to ATT..

I agree to the suggestions but Attack could stay the same
I think his jump value is a bit over the top, in the last time his physics aren't full developed as he used to
Also Agiltiy could go also one point down, he's getting older with the time....

his defending standards have drop compared to previous season, his positioning when the team is under attack isn't what it once was.

Yes, I'd seriously go as low as 63 for DEF - he's not been reliable in terms of defensive positioning for a long time.

Yes, you're probably right actually Mr. Evans. I'd give him a point raise for ATT at least though. A combo of good attack but poor long passing stats will recreate him well in my opinion. It's been said to death but he gets in excellent attacking positions but doesn't have the resources to make use of them.

Fair enough. So:
ATT: 77
DEF: 63
SPA: 75
LPA: 75 (if he's a very poor crosser why not go lower, I lowered Bosingwa to a 73 for instance.. he could even go lower)
LPS: 80/81 (you call it ballmer)

What about his TS/ACC/AGI/DS/MENT/TW? His current values in those stats don't seem right to me but I'm not convinced enough of my own values to suggest them.
