In 1961, AC Milan hired Nereo Rocco, an innovative football coach, known as inventor of the catenaccio tactic. The team included a young Gianni Rivera and José Altafini. The following season, thanks also to Altafini's goals, Milan won their first European Cup (later known as UEFA Champion League) by defeating Benfica 2-1. This was also the first time an Italian team won the European Cup.

Updated this and split the topic in 2 including only The European Cup winner teams. We don't need, and will never use any more those teams of eras extended into 10 years which included players that played 10 years apart from each-other. Sadly, from our sites problems we lost almost all of this team, and we'll have to do alot of work to complete this one.

The 62-63 team is done. I gotta thank MagicDip for all the work he's done on this team. The 63 team is now complete. Unfortunately it's impossible creating any more players than what we've already got in here, coz the footage for this team is very limited. This is the max number of players we can have. MagicDip is going to work on the 69 team, while I take care of Juve 85, so you guys can have a mixture of both those team when we're done updating the 69 squad, as they're not so far apart from each-other as eras.. although the core players for Milan 1969 team is quite different from 1963.

Well to make it short, I suggest you guys merge in your OF the 63 and 69 Milan, coz as I already stated it's impossible to have sets for the "less recognizable" players of these 2 teams.
