PSD is planing an upgrade that will implicate some serious programing and overall changes ... users themselves won't notice much difference except for the ladder system that will be fully automated if everything works according to plan ... it's just the start of a bigger project ... I don't want to promises anything but I hope the first stage will be complete in a form or another early next year ...

this might not work at all so don't get to enthusiastic about it ... but we need to try to evolve a bit from the classic forum we have

Now what dose this mean for the site at the moment ... well it's frozen ... no updates on players ... no approved stats ... at least for the time being ... transfers can be dome as it is the transfer period that we will be in soon ... but other than that PSD is on standby ... I didn't want to stop the site completely as except for the updates everything else still works

as you are making improvments i was wondering if it would be possible to include an "AGREE" button under each post so it would be easier to count "agree-s" on stat improvments and etc...

definiteley disagree - I´m a friend of discussions and if we have an agree button a lot of guys will just push him. that`s not good for a conversation. I like to have discussions about impressions and oppinions.

ok...you have a point there i was just hoping it would be easier to count agree-s and have them all in one place rather than scroll 4-5 or even more pages to count them

they haven't signed him yet...he (Piazon) only said that chelsea and juventus were after his signature and that he prefers juventus, and if a transfer happens it will probbably be the summer after this one because of brasilian regulations...

How will it work? whenever an update is agreed the stats in both pages have to be changed? who can edit what?

updates will be done by mods ... in the following period players form the site will be linked with the ones from the forum ... only mods can edit players ... and the edits will always be synchronized

yes ... but not now ... because of the era issue it needs a separate system ... it will be thought about in the future

And what about the creation of the new players?

normal users create them as usual ... if the set get's approved the mods take it from there and take the appropriate actions to have them on the site as well ... it's a bit complicated but to be honest I am not sure we need that many new players

i actually thougth classics wouldn't be added it sounds like a lot of work and how can i put this, it isn't worth as much is it? the current day stats are balanced and all that but classic ones aren't...just look at any player from beyond the 50's...what use is it to compare and make ladders for them?

the ladders are automated ... once the stats are added in the database ladders are very simple ... there will probably be ladders for eras so comparison is somewhat relevant

Hi Nrby, I see one "bug" at ages... A lot of players have their age as 2011, but others have their age write correctly. So how is the correct form that we need to put the age in the topic for it's correctly showed in the site?

for example:
Samir Nasri: PSD/Player.php?Id=1&Club=1 - Age: 22 (JUN-26-1987)
Alex Song: PSD/Player.php?Id=19&Club=1 - Age: 22 (09/09/1987)

You understand what I'm saying?
