Yeah he's been pretty shit recently, but at the start of the season he was our best player along with Terry by far.

DMf should be his main position ahead of CMF just a minor change

I always see him playing DMF MORE THAN CMF .

Could be repeating myself but I feel a raise in Technique is needed. 84-85 would suit him.

I also think he should get higher technique . Raising his tech with one is quite enough .

Seeing as Lampard is on 84 and Salomon fricking Kalou is on 83 I think 83 for Mikel wouldn't do him justice.

I suggest raising his balance to 88-89. He is actually one of the strongest player in the entire squad, and rearly gets outmuscled even by the strongest strikers or midfielders in the league. 88 would make him the same as Yaya Toure.

Perfect examples between 1.53 and 2.07 in this video. Also look at 2.24, were he CRUSHES Lee Bowyer:

Also suggest raising his SPA to 86, as he rarly ever misses passes. And no, he doesnt only to so called "easy passes", more percentege of his passes are difficult to make than for example Xavi's. He often plays perfectly accurate trough passes to Anelka, Malouda and Ashley Cole.

Also agree with Kostaz in raising his TEC to 85.

I would prefer to give him 87 for body balance but 89 is too much .

I suggest to lower his form ، in most of his matches ، he plays badly ، how about that ؟

SPECIAL ABILITIES:

PLAYER INDEX CARDS:
P02 - Anchor Man
P06 - Pinpoint Pass

DEF/RES:
His positioning and tackling has improved but he's still not the most solid defensively, still makes some stupid mistakes while his positioning is still a bit suspect so it's only a small raise. His performances in pre-season and versus Stoke were promising though so he could possibly go up more after next season.
His current RES value is too harsh though. Mikel has always been good reader of the game and intercepting has always been his strongest point defensively. He's worthy of a 83 imo for sure.

BAL/STA:
Despite being a DM, Mikel isn't the type to go on many physical challenges so his strength isn't on constant display but he's so strong and he's got terrific balance. I've seen so many players trying to knock him down but hardly anyone succeeds and therefore need to commit a foul. But since he's not the type to outmuscle players and more the 'unmovable' type, I went with a small raise and like how he it feels in game.

TS/DS:
Brought up his TS a bit as he's got decent pace over distance, slightly better than a 78 suggests. Sometimes I feel his ACC can go up a bit too but I'll leave that as it is for now. And brought up his DS because his current value made him a bit too slow when making those runs on the ball he sometimes does.

AGI/DA/TECH:
Obi's pretty agile for a guy of his size, turns pretty quick and smooth. Far better than a 77 and after testing him I liked him best with a 80.
His DA is also far better than his current value. He lacks the pace and agility to be much of a dribbler but he has displayed some pretty impressive close control from time to time, even in some reasonably tight spaces, and I find him more impressive than the likes of Lampard and Ramires.
Mikel has a very good and pretty classy first touch. There's more than just one point gap between him and the likes of Ramires and Yaya Toure and simply a easy 83 imo.

SPS/LPA/LPS/TW
Brought down his SPS because he doesn't a lot of pace in his passes and mostly passes to players only a few metres away from him.
His LPA is just too low. Mikel's a very good long passer and has proved so constantly, plays the right into the player's path. Finds the wings from deep positions with ease and is close to Lampard in terms of accuracy. His long passes are floaty though so that's why his LPS is pretty low.
And his link-up play, distribution and ability to read the moves of his team mates is better than an 81 suggests. Mikel's very good at this and has an important role in Chelsea's build-up play from the back.

Cards:
-Mikel's definitely not the Gattuso-type so I removed Enforcer. His style is far too relaxed and 'lazy'
-Removed Passer as he simply doesn't deserve it.
-Removed Covering as Mikel's the type to just sit deep in front the defence at all times and doesn't really cover the empty spaces left by his team mates, which is perfectly reflected with the Anchor Man card.
