I feel his Stamina could be decreased not by much though possibly a 92/93 value his engine is no doubt fantastic but I don't feel he should be this high as it puts on par with Park Ji Sung and Gattuso who's engine's are slightly better than Essien's.

I completely disagree cause I feel his stamina is perfect.

We can't judge anything at the moment because hes been out for 6 months. At least give him a chance to play before we start making changes

SA should go down, ST too!
He is better than Cavani 74!

BB could be 88 on pair with Gattuso no ?

Coz with his speed and his BB he is invincible!

i see you edited your suggestions but still too high and not needed. his current shooting stats are fine. that volley of his was a one-off and i bet he couldn't do it again any time soon.

it was not a one off . he has scored a few great goals in his footballing years and he is one of the best midfielders in the world and his goal was up there with the best goals EVER

goal of the season SO FAR easy

so you're saying that he will score many more left-footed volleys in his career and that was just the beginning????? look, he doesn't have laser guided accuracy and he doesn't always hit the target whenever he shoots. there's nothing stopping him from scoring belters with his current stats.

Here here. Essien's shots, like danny Agger's are very wild. They are raw and primal and when they're on target keepers usually have f**k all chance of stopping them. 'Thing is they come few and far between. 'Fact is, I score screamers with these players, just not -every- game.

Hell, I score them with Mascherano for crying out loud.

he scored the goal for Chelsea and saved Barca's ass in extra time... only legends can lift ones hope up to shatter it again. A real privilege!

again we aren't that far off :) ... good to see that more sources of stats seem to converge and have very similar ratings for individual players ...

Would it be over kill to raise Essien's stamina?? (I'm looking at GL's stats and I don't see why 96 stamina is unreasonable) I honestly like, think he doesn't necessarily have stamina per say... because like, that'd mean he actually has a point where he gets "tired"... I don't he has this point. I don't think it exists. :? I honestly think he could run around the Earth twice without a single glass of water. He's freakish.

okay...so you agree with Gooner's Stamina, but what about the rest of the stats. I am tempted to just put his stats in the 1st post 8-)

Vandeach threw up an interesting point about ladders. It's a tough one, 'cause I'm almost tempted to be immature say "fuck the ladders" and just update my OF with it, because you know, I've sort of grown fond of the guy despite his earlier attempt to decapitate Didi. (Not fond in -that- way!! Well... maybe a little. Half and half... :?)

Eh, I'll probably take a closer look at the ladders. -Sigh- Otherwise chaos could ensue. They don't look a problem to the naked eye, though.

Well if it's true than he deserves a 99 on Stamina, even higher than Dirk Kuyt  , which I don't think is true because 95 is good enough for him to play in all of the games for like 5 straight season (without getting any injury).

I think that you've got your definitions mixed up. What you've just described is the Condition stat, not the Stamina stat. Basically, Stamina affects the players fitness during a course and Condition covers the amount of fatigue a player will acrue after many games (The higher the value, the less fatigue the player experiences).
