His attacking has been quite good in the Gold Cup. Especially his crossing - every ball he puts in looks really dangerous.

However - his defending has been horrible.

His speed looks better than this - looks around 84 or so for TS/ACC

Stamina looks higher too. He constantly attacks. Maybe 84.

I think 78 response is really generous. I wouldn't go above 75. Defense probably could be low 60s from what I have seen but probably best to see how he does later in the tournament before making any changes.

This guy puts in such dangerous crosses!

How is his crossing in Liga MX?

if he is as good in Mexico - surely his long passing stats need to be yellow.

However - his short passing game is pretty bad when not hitting low crosses. Looks under 70 - lot's of inaccurate balls.

Accleration/TS easily look 84-86

I agree on TS 84 and acc 86. I have to watch his crosses more to be sure.

I would say his Defense value to be 60 and Attack value 71. He cant really defend make a lot of mistakes in marking but really enjoys to attack and his getting pretty good at it.

Agree.

He is a very good attacking sb but his defense needs a lot of work. I'll make the suggested changes and up his crossing to 78 for now. I think he deserves yellow but I'll try to catch more of his club matches before going any higher.

He also deserves P11 – Long Ranger (SW, CB, SB, DM, WB, CM, SM, AM, SS) (Offensive) because
"A player who needs no invitation to shoot and will always try to create space for a shot."

His SA also deserves a look at more closely to me looks like a 73. Yesterday score on a Freekick and usually on target with his long kicks. His centers are pretty accurate.

Agree with your suggestions.

I'm really impressed with this guy. He has the ability to be Mexico's lb or rb for many years. He's fast, runs forever, scores goals and has a great cross on him with either foot. If he keeps up his form - only a matter of time before he is in Europe.

Considering your suggestions - what do you think about the following changes?

SA 73 (as you suggested)
Free Kick 77
Swerve 81
Stamina 88 (he never stops attacking , even late in the game)
Kicking Power 84 (as you stated - he shoots from distance a lot)

What do you think about his weak foot skills? He plays leftback quite a bit despite being rightback and he is clearly quite good at crossing with either.

I'm considering 7/7 but not sure.

I would agree and I am also thinking in Tenacity to be 78 like Torres Nilo or even more. His DA should be like 80 higher than Torres Nilo.

I'm not sure. Layun never struck me as having great ball control. Decent but nothing special. Not sure he deserves to be yellow.

What do you think Soccermaniakk?

Stamina could even be orange. This guy runs non-stop. Makes deep attacking runs even close to 90th minute.
