Spoiler: show
Talented Czech Republic international midfielder with 62 caps and 22 goals, recently made captain of his national side. Wenger prefers to use him as a left midfileder but he can also play as a attacking central midfielder. Arrived last season from Borussia Dortmund in 2006 and made 26 appearances in the Premiership last season and scored 3 goals. Rosicky is a intelligent player with good control, excellent vision, accurate passing and can score goals from long range.

Strange, why the silent update?

If you're on about Response dropping by 2 then it's because I updated him, along with 87 other Midfield players in the league, to fit newer standards of Response. Only thing that's been changed though

I am not sure I agree with some of the new values.I cannot see how his DS can go down, if the previous value was correct for the '10-'11 season, then he should have a higher DS because in the last months he is using much more of his pace.

Despite his return to form this year, I think Shot Accuracy looks generous. Maybe someone who watches him more regularly could tell me otherwise, but I find he is still lacking in the this department. Could be wrong. Short Pass Speed looks too high to me as well.

Good set. SA and SS is good, he have a fast pass and his SA is good but he do not shoot to often from far (almost everyone in Arsenal, except Arteta).

Regarding his SPS,his passes always have pace, they are not easily intercepted.I think he deserves this value.I suggest we switch his SPA with Modric.I watch both of them,an I am very confident that Modric is a,even slightly, better passer at this moment. Luka is making some magnificent long range balls, with the ball on the ground. Rosicky misplaces quite a few balls, although he still makes excellent use of Walcott's pace!

I see him overrated in passing (SPA, SPS) stats... he has a great technique and passing-skill, but, he isn't very incisive, and when
he makes 'incisive' passes fail a lot (maybe beacuse he is a bit ingenous in the passes that he make in the final third of the pitch...)

His STA seems a bit low, he isn't very consistent in the pitch, but this is more a MENT issue (i think), he runs a lot, cover a lot of pitch (
that is the reason beacuse TW=86 seems perfect for me, but imho, he need more STA for the 'combo', maybe 81?)

His DS for me is clearly better, his amazing dribbling makes him dribbling ( ) at full speed, 84 at least imho...

Also a have some doubts with his agi, he make amazing turns with a very good balance too (More AGI?, PES Balance has nothing
to do with his good balance when he dribbles..., i'm right?)... but really i don't know, maybe with his 90 in DA he doesn't need a lot of agi
for his kind of dribbling...

SInce he started playing strictly as an AMF(around February),he has stopped running up and down the pitch, like he did when Arteta was AMF,and you can see him many times sitting still when the ball is very close to him.
Regarding his passing,I think that he deserves a high value for SPS,he is excellent at this aspect. But I still believe that his SPA should be switched with Modric,as I said in my previous post.
Also,in the Anders' thread(who made this set),I argued that his response is low given his ability at well timed tackles, and the answer I got was "Response affecting tackling is a myth" :o I don't know what others, more experienced, say, but in my experience RES affects tackles. And Rosicky should be at least 2 points over Modric, who's in a 80.

Been watching a few of the last games and I'd say he looks a lot faster on the ball than 82.

SPA Ladder:

Silva 90
-> Rosicky 89 <-
Modric 88
Arteta 88
Mata 87
Cabaye 86
Scholes 86

Silva is obviously too low as he is the best short passer in the EPL by a fair margin, but rosicky still seems a bit too high, above modric in particular seems dubious. I would suggest 87-88.

damn, that comment gave me cancer. Still is a joy to see him play, his class and vision are still really obvious. This season is starting to play as a super sub, the last hope. I still remember the match against the spurs, a great pass to leave ramsey alone with serious chances of goal, of course he fucked it, but his vision is great. A really accurate set to me.
