I think we discussed eveything? I'm still on sure of that response, hes inept defensivly and rarely trys to win balls, and imo what he does offensivly response wise is no better than what xavi does.. still represented with greens imo.

I'm curious why you guys think he is not that good of a dribbler ? I think he is pretty underrated even at 85 DA

IMO his bad days came in Barca after his fight with Kanoute in which he was badly beaten. :D

he actually has great leaping ability as well as heading ability , don't know why 73 values for both these ?
DS needs to be higher , 81 would be fine with me , his ST is actually great , he scored some volley goals this season , 79 just seems bit underrated .
RES 79 would suit him better than 81 as mentioned before .
What about that TW value ? Don't you think he needs higher TW ? 84 just seems so low for player who plays for Spain and Barcelona . He runs a lot , he's always open for passes , low oranges or high yellows imo .

I agree about higher DS, I've thought on that since that goal against Tottenham when he was Arsenal player still. He might not be particularly fast but he does actually retain good amount of speed on the ball indeed. I would bring his ment a bit down too, but as for the rest (even though Im not against less than oranges for SPA, no doubts on his skill, just his style) could be updated.

I don't see a reason behind that just because of the team he plays, man.

If Messi who is actually twice as lazy than Cesc has 83 , why would Cesc have 84 ? I can't give you any numbers as I don't completely understand way of rating them here on PSD , but based on ladders , he ( Cesc ) should have TW more similar to Thiago ( 90 ) than Messi at 83 .
I'm not suggesting any kind of decrease for Messi's TW , I find him quite realistic in-game , I'm suggesting Cesc should have higher value ( just based on ladders )

What do you think about header/jump ? That impressed me the most from Cesc , and that cold head when facing only the keeper ...
Actually when you think about it , Barcelona were second team behind Bilbao that scored most goals by head in last season , yet , they are the worst team rated in jump/header here on PSD .

Thiago unlike cesc, is able to play in barcs midfield becaue his supportive movement is adequate. Cesc's isn't at all, his movement is just poor, it's not at barcas level at all.

Yeah, and they also scored twice as much goals as basically every team.

so that means you can't score twice as much goals as every team and have good and real heading and jumping value ?

No, it's just saying a statistic like that is useless when barca score so much more than basically everyone in the league, their bound to have statistics like that.

Mentality shouldn't be even on greens according to what he's done this season.

Agree with the rest. Our current DS value (82) seems fine though.

Edit: I also think Response could be ok with a high green value.

Should be lower than 85 attack, the differnce between him and xavi/iniesta/silva is bigger imo.

85 attack is a decent value but 84 can be given IMO. I dont agree lowering his attack less than 84.

Iniesta should have the highest attack value between three of them , Xavi and Cesc to follow . Let's say Iniesta is 87 , Xavi 86 and Cesc 85 ? Also Cesc has that more attacker instinct / poacher type than 2 of those , but Iniesta and Xavi aren't that far behind them , but their vision is much better than Cesc's , so I think there should be 1 point difference between 3 of them .

Why should iniesta be ahead of xavi? For all of iniestas talent, he never matches xavi in the role, nor in creating chances.. xavi is way, way ahead of him in that regard, even when his form drops xavis far ahead. Xavi even beat him in terms of offensive danger this year imo. To me, it's insanity to have xavi one point ahead of cesc.
