Nah, hes way, way behind him. Barzagli isnt even that good in def imo, hes just got a really good overview and reading, coupled with being a really powerful makes him a great, get where hes supposed to be and win the ball kinda guy, huge TW, Very high Bal, great resp, good def. Godins just on another level though, much better disposer especially.

He's one of the world's best defenders if not the best. I don't get it how can he have such low agression compared to David Luiz (Godin 66,Luiz 77),and he's speed should be 80 in my opinion, and also his agility. ;)

Response 86 is way too low for Godin. He's easily for oranges, he's just amazing in intercepting the ball. I think he can be on pair with Otamendi with 90. Also, his agg can also get couple of points up, he's oftenly going forward when he intercept the ball 30 or 40 meters from his goal, but really, he's always doing that. About TW, i am not sure about him being this high. I alwazs said he's for high greens.

i think his set and the sets of other atletico players (filipe luis, juanfran, koke, tiago, griezmann etc) could be copied to the classic section

He's sadly not this good anymore. I'd like to update him but also to keep this set for a classic set first.

Ok I've updated him now that we have a classic set. Just tweaked some values so as not to make him godlike as he used to be. He has been good, but irregular. He's just not impassable anymore.

I just can't find him that dominant anymore. Perhaps I'm trying to replicate the whole team's defensive performances by applying changes to players separatedly, but there is no doub that he is simply not as successful as he used to be when it comes to handling his own physically against theoretically weaker foes.

Showed nice TS on a run while covering Savic's flaw...intercepted Caicedo really well. Perhaps it could be restored to its old value at least.

The defense downgrade is perhaps a bit harsh. It was rather conditioned by his form and I think he has proven me wrong. He had a few months during which he seemed awkward and average but he has kind of recovered. He is still one of the best in the world, the way he bosses the defense and his determination when tackling is far beyond most CB's in the last few years. He may not be the red DEF he deserved two years ago, but he is definitely not as far from it as I have rated him on his last update.

He's almost 32 years old though and I can't recall him pulling that trick before. If he doesn't do it on a regular basis it shouldn't be added to him or AI may abuse it :) but his overall DA is probably a bit better than this, regardless of the roulette, he could probably warrant something around 76
