Yes, thank you.

List pretty much the same as the one from qualifications except for an extra goalkeeper and Dragan Mrdja ( voted best player of JSL domestic league ) in attack position as a support for Žigić, Pantelić and Danko Lazović.

Since this still is not final list, 1st post will be left unchanged until that happens - in other words, we are all waiting which goalkeeper will coach Antić leave behind.

Yep, this is the squad which will make our nation proud in WC...
He will exclude Andjelko 99%, cuz he didn't take part in qual's, and Antic is playing safety, with players who got his respest in last years, which could be seen in his selection...

Next game on Wednessday, vs Poland and after that, on 5th of June in Belgrade, vs Cameroon.
This game was played without regular captain Dejan Stankovic, Ivanovic, Krasic and Lane Jovanovic. I still believe that this team can make it through a group stage and into 1/8 finals. After all, they are making history how ever you put it.
@Paddy - it is a big LOL indeed, I laughed almost the whole game to incapability to turn chances into goals. Whole Serbian team looked very lazy and uninterested, total fail :D

I believe in success, too, but I'm still worried about our bench...like in Germany four years ago...

Serbia were the team I was going to support as an underdog, after that, I'm going to seriously have to reconsider.

Well, that is for you to decide, I don't have a doubt. I will support my team even if they fail miserably like in 2006. ;)
anyway, I am sure that this unexpected defeat will wake them up on time and again, Serbian team played without Stankovic, Krasic, Lane Jovanovic, Lukovic and Bane Ivanovic...

International friendly, 2nd control game for World Cup in South Africa, 02-June-2010

POLAND 0-0 SERBIA

Serbia:
Isailović <> (Stojkovic 46),
Ivanovic, Kolarov, Lukovic, Subotic,
Stankovic <> (Petrovic of 46), Kuzmanovic, Krasic <>(Mrdja of 69),
Jovanovic <> (Tosic of 46), Lazovic <>(Kacar from 60th ),
Zigic <>(from Pantelic 46).

Serbian national team failed to score a goal AGAIN. They played a draw tonight in a extreme wet weather and totally soaked pitch in Kufstein with a selection of Poland , but it was now a slightly better than the match against New Zealand.
Nemanja Vidic missed the match due to stomach problems.
Coach Radomir Antic has decided to give opportunity to a goalkeeper Isailović from the start. Also, instead of Marko Pantelic there was Danko Lazovic, but unlike the match against New Zealand, ''Eagles'' were stronger for Ivanovic, Jovanovic & Krasic.

International friendly, 3rd control game for World Cup in South Africa, 05-June-2010,

SERBIA 4-3 CAMEROON

Goals from a game played @ FK Partizan Stadium, Belgrade:

4th minute 0-1 Webo, 15th minute 1-1 Krasić, 17th minute 1-2 Webo, 25th minute 2-2 Stanković, 42nd minute 3-2 Milijaš (pen.), 45th minute 4-2 Pantelić, 68th minute 4-3 Choupo-Moting

SERBIA :
Stojković,
Ivanović, Luković, Subotić, Obradović (Kolarov 46min.),
Milijaš (Petrović 46min.),
Krasić (Mrđa 62min.), Jovanović (Tošić 65min.), Stanković,
Pantelić (Ninković 57min.), Žigić (Lazović 46min.).

CAMEROON:
Souleymannou,
Mandjeck (Geremi), M'bia, Bassong, Assou-Ekoto,
Nukuolu, N'guemo, Makoun, Aboubakar (Emana),
Choupo-Moting (Bong), Webo (Idrissou).
------------------------------------------
One more match without Nemanja Vidić, this time obvious gaps in last line of defence. All 3 goals in a same way - if 1st is goalkeeper mistake, other two are clearly defensive errors. Webo was brilliant, two chances - two goals, just like in a game vs Portugal, same connection, Assou-Ekoto with a centershot and Webo headed goal. Serbia managed to equalise quick, both times after very nice actions where key figure was Krasić. Also, I would like to point out very effective collaboration on the left side - Obradović & Jovanović. On the right, Krasić was often left alone to dribble out, Ivanović was a little late for a second Cameroon goal, left Luković stranded on the right. Anyway, good test for both teams, Antić and LeGuen can be satisfied, they tried many things, found out some weaknesses. For Serbian team, it is good to see that scoring is again on a table but defence look a little lost without a key player. Goalkeeper Stojković unsure again...
Next game is official, 13th June vs Ghana. First game for Serbia in group D.

* updated national team picture with new Nike kits in 1st post ;)

One thing Serbia will top in this World Cup, before it even start will be height.
Officially, Serbian national team is the highest in Championship with 185,96cm average height and right behind, at second place are the Greeks with 185,26.
Nikola Žigić is the tallest player with 202cm
Will it be useful remain to be seen....

It's interesting they were beaten 3 times with headers despite this fact. Hopfully for you it can only be better, it's surely better to play bad now than later
on WC. Good luck down there.

Well, thanx. It is not likely we can achieve what you did in '98 but, hey... who knows ;)
And that bad play before WC was because Vidić spend 2 days in WC - literally
He had a "stomach flu"
