Im updating his free kick accuracy to 78 cause hes slightly more accurate than Kewell IMO. Also added his Free Kick Type 8.

Gave this a much needed update. Really impressive player, but he doesn't defend the back line all that eventhough he plays as a deep central midfielder :? Good positional sense, nice composure on the ball and somewhat Fellaini esque at times. He's hasn't really impressed with his shooting so a slight downgrade was needed. His headers are awesome. Good workrate and he's settled in well at the team. Deserves to be playing for the better teams.

he generally overpowers his passes; I think his SPS should be close to 80.

80 isn't anything specail tho. in the new pes games, it'll simply give him enough power to play passes without getting them intercepted. how about we raise it to 81/82?

Was brilliant against Spurs today.

It seems to me his defense is much better then it currently shows. I'd even say as high as being green in that aspect.

Looked like a 3rd CB out there today, was totally dominating.

To highlight further, he is currently leading the EPL in successful tackles with 34, with an extremely good success rate of 87%.

He is also 4th in the league in aeriel challenges with 43 successful duels (best defensive player, all 3 above him are strikers) - with once again a ridiculous success rate of 84%.

He is also the 2nd in the league in Interceptions - behind Michael Carrick - with 32.

He has been arguably the best defensive midfielder in the league so far this season as far as defense goes, both by my eye test and by the stats that back it up - having him with such a low rating there is criminal really.

He's the best of definition of what an Anchor Man is, mostly protecting the D-Line at this back and proving to be a magnificent tackler.
If he was already good under Ian Holloway, he's been doing wonders under Tony Pulis lately.
Personally I'd set DMF as default, switch his ATT/DEF ratio to recreate his better defensive abilities at expense of his offensive ones (ATT 66 DEF 75), increase his Balance to 87, as well as decrease EP to 71 and TS/ACC a couple of points at least. And Aw is definitely a 2/3.
