Yes, thats a good point. He tracks back and tries to help his team very often.
Hard worker but never a goal scoring machine

very nice update! but you didn't update his passing stats.. he does very good passes (when he decides.....)

Short Pass Accuracy: 76/77
Short Pass Speed: 79 (more power, less accurate)

about cards:
i think he can have Incisive Run and Fox in the Box
want a job at KONAMI.. seriously..

I'd say something like 75/76 for SPA/SPS. I agree with Fox in the Box, I'm not sure about Mazing Run though.

Sorry about that mate, I meant to write Incisive Run. Like I said before I'm not 100% sure about adding it.
What do you think about my suggested values for his Short Passing?

I disagree with Fox in the Box. Totally. He's not anywhere near a box player and even when he's in the box he wont be a Fox in the Box the way that he tries to use his body to cover the ball and lay the ball off for a teammate. I actually can't remember a single moment he did this for Celtic.

Incisive Run maybe, sometimes he does that and quite good but not that often but I wouldn't argue against the card.

Mate, Fox in the Box is the PES 2010 translation of Post Player.

I know mate and lets take the official describtion -

P21 – Fox in the Box (CF) (Offensive)
A striker who lurks in the opposition 18 yard box just waiting for the ball.

I don't really see him lurking in the box waiting for the ball at all.

To be honest, I'm not really sure what it means. At the moment its best to leave it out.
Do you think he needs changes/new cards anywhere else?

EDIT:

I would have said "fox in the box" was like the old *Post Player. Because if you look at the gif the player recives the ball and the defenders are attracted to him as he holds it up and lays it off.

So again Konami have given it a name which has nothing to do with what it actually does.

Does anyone have the piggyback guide to all of these?

Now I'm really confused. :?

I personally gave him outside curve just because of the techniqual skills he sometimes shows so he must be able to do that imo

On yerself Sammy. 3 goals in 3 games and looked really impressive each time. If he can be consistant I can see Samara's being one of the top players this year. Thats a big IF right enough.

All 3 goals were penalties though. When he is at his best, he's a good player - but I don't think he can consistently keep up good form.

It's not the goals that impressed me but his touch, link up play and movement was as good as i've ever seen from him, he looked like a whole new player. But like you say consistency is always a problem.

Sammy, Brown and McCourt all looked really good in pre-season, it may just be down to form but hopefully it's Lennon able to get the best out of them. I wasn't a fan of his appointment but if he can make these player's work (or in Brown's case focus) and sort out the dodgy defense then we may be watchable once again.

To be fair, at the WC I thought he looked pretty good, but at Celtic he tends to go through the motions.

I think his ACC should be at the level of TS, and more response

top speed: 83
acceleration: 82
response: 82

this videos shows that:
1)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXjcPE37RA4

2)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EKpFeNQZf0&feature=related

in the first video, look the play of the 0:44 to the 1:00,easily exceeds the defender who was marking, leaving behind,i think that is the product of ACC.
the same happens in the play of the minute 1:17 to 1:40.

the second video, the first play and the play of 1:04 to 1:15, look at the time he takes to react for shoot the ball.

ACC could maybe go up to 81, Response is fine as it is.

Sammie is incredibly slow on the ball, I'd consider dropping his DS to a lower number as he tends to dwell on the ball. Also, he fully deserves Side
