An update is more than overdue. He barely played last year but he has been one of the best players of J. League this season, what a player. I am expecting a LOT from the Japanese U22 squad in the Summer Olympics.
Kashiwa Reysol is dominating the League in such an ease !!
I don´t really understand the IT: C. He wasn´t that often injured. Maybe some years ago but with 22 that seams unrealistic. So i go for a IT: B.
It´s really hard to say anything about him he played nearly never. For the new standards he may need a decrease in Response, Mentality and Teamwork but maybe he deserves the values he has even with the new standards.
Yes he's only 22 but he started early (17), so this season should be his fifth at professional football.
He missed nearly the whole 2010 season due to injuries but he was healthy again in the his last year in Japan, he seems frail physically although he isn't very bad in physical duels. Not too sure about a C.
Stamina : In the Olympic tournament he didn't look like he warrants a 81 in stamina, he was drained out after every game and wasn't too visible past the 70 minute or so, maybe because he didn't play much at club's level.
Main position : thinking of changing it to SS or AM. That's where he plays at U22 national team level, he grabbed a lot of goals lately and became the most decisive and important attacking player of the team, even played as a lone forward at times. I feel he deserves a small increase in attack, he showed some smart positioning and good attacking movements. 75 if registered AM, 76 if SS.
Response :77 - 75 ? He's more lively and responsive in the opponent box than in midfield.
Mentality : Definitely not a strength of him, 70, 69 ?
TW : Not very good collectively, quite individualistic, would rate him lower than Usami. (72 ?).
