Well, when I look Huntelaar, and he has 79 for DA,I would give Silva 84-85. :D But seriously,78 should work for him.LPA=83-84,absolutely awesome, probably best passer among CBs at the moment. Also LPS=88.TS=85,or even higher. But I don't want to overrate him.He has bloody good pace.'bout header,84 is good, but his jump is thing to be admired. So maybe 88.

With Extra Attacker he attacks way too much - but you can toggle it on or off.

Agree to Covering but not Man Marking as that is usually the job of his partner at Milan.

TS 84-85
ACC 87
HEA 84
JMP 88
RES 87

Long Passing over the past couple of games hasnt been as good but he tried more as the games were a pressurized environment - I would prefer Ajacied_Breda1 conservative increase suggestion for now.

Thats what I have him on (with 84 TS and 87 ACC) - I play him the deepest and with covering - sims real life to me.

Just looked at the ladder and the lowest I would put him on is 85 but have no prob with what I suggested as most of the players on the RES ladder have a higher DEF rating.

master smurf, i disagree....personally when i see Milan i usually see Nesta as the last man, with covering instructions, and Silva the little more aggressive one,the one doing tackles and all-round-defence closures.

Really - usually Nesta or Bonera marks the main striker and Thiago Silva roams around cutting out balls and chasing down men if they get through.

I think we have a different understanding of covering - because we described the same thing, though Thiago does start deeper in the lineup and then moves around to suit.

thats true , silva is the one who roams the defensive area throughout the game, while bonera/nesta stays backwards as last man...

I agree to this. But probably we need to focus on the *Covering star....
The star makes the player to position in the spot of a player gone up into the attack and stay on duty
until the player comes back....like in an holding position. The *Covering doesnt make the player roam through
the defensive zone (defence/Defensive midfield) and chase down players..

perfect description, I don't think he needs the star. Moreover he could maybe get []Extra attacker, a card that will clash a little bit with []Covering..

well, not bad tbh and better than the 1st post with no doubt ;)
but i have a few tweaks tho:
-I'd raise his TS/ACC to 84 both, like said before he is damn fast
-AGI can be 80/81 i guess
-LPA can go up a couple too
-Technique would be better on 77
-AGG is kinda low i think, 70/72 would be fair i believe ?
-Condition: 7

stats look great. although would leave def @ 83, possibly raise response to 85 (if we do that, we can remove marking* and covering*). TS could go up to 84. I'm iffy on short passing stats, I'm not convinced he's that good. I will update shortly. Now we should focus a bit on Nesta who hasn't been updated since even before last season.

Actually I agree with Fiddy, both ACC and TS can sit at 84, TS possibly higher.

well, yes true i think that TS/ACC @ 85/84 would be the best values, no more tho.
besides don't agree with the removal of Marking.

And Rfuna what about the rest of my suggestions ?

agree, CL is the right benchmark for TS, so after seeing both matches against ManU I agree on this.

LPS could be 1/2 points higher and AGG @ 69, zeem's recap is good except for cards

EDIT: Actually he is not glued to his man, but seems a coach instruction, the defense seems to put low pressure on the opponents. *Marking could probably go anyway.

About Marking, fact is that if he deserves the star/card,tons of other central backs in the Serie A deserves it too. I don't see a particularly tight/efficent marking into open plays or on set pieces to deserve a star. Covering should definitly go,it's basically wrong for his defensive roaming style. I can agree to Speeds and Res boosts, don't know if he really proven his 87 SP, haven't really see such high power in his shots. Condition 7 is right too. Also a really good choice to emulate his style of play is brought up Aggression to that 68 or something.

i think his shot against roma is a 90 one ? (if im not wrong its roma)..he didnt have chance for taking FK at milan...rarely see his shot..decreasing it might be good...btw we can use "CB Overlap" tactic to make him attack instead of giving him extra attacker...he's not doin it everytime anyways.
