This stats are from last season isnt it ? In this set he is preety avarage , am sure his better then this since he is 1 of the best attacking midfielders in Bundesliga today(even 1 of the best around the world in his age category). Arsenal is possibly ready to buy 40+ millions for Schlake.

I think some of his stats should sitt in high 80s , especially dribbling and technique , also think he is faster then this (may around mid 80s?).

I've seen him vs. Steaua and he's indeed very talented... but judging from THAT particular game only I can tell that the stats aren't way off. Of course some stats may be arguable but I haven't seen anything that'd make me go

I watched few games of Schalke and honestly his technical skills seemed better than this. For example his DA is about 88 IMO, short pass acc. could get a few point boost and I would dare saying same for his explosive power and acceleration. Any thoughts?

TE and DA seems a bit better, his technique-skills are his best feature. maybe a small raise would be fair

His Header and Jump is too low for him because he is good in aerial duel, suggestion Header 75 Jump 77 and he is looking good while dribling ball so he need dribling skill too

I think the last downgrade was too harsh, I'd rather go with lower Form before lowering all his stats. His set was really nerfed and I don't see why, he's capable of much better passing skills, he was just too irregular.

Did he not create some drama at Wolfsburg recently to make a move? He had been absent in recent matches.

He is a talent, but PSG has too much competition for his style/position - the move to juve a couple years back was fluffed and he leaves so quick now from Wolfsburg - this guy needs the stability of first team football to develop (like a Moratta, Dybala) not to be a rotated player - he is just going to stagnate..his injury record is also not encouraging in this regard.

Pastore is out for the reminder of the season, Hatem is out of favor and Jesé will probably be loaned back to Spain, so his competition will be Lo Celso/Lucas. I think he can easily deal with Lucas at least.

Didn't know Pastore was out for rest of season, still Emery has been 4-3-3 obsessive, with Cavani in the centre so that leaves two spots for Di Maria, Lucas, Matuidi (Emery been using him there I guess for some of the reasons you mentioned (Ben Arfa and Jese)), if Jese gets loaned out you still got Ben Arfa (a player adapted to the league already but meh this season)..hopefully it will work out for Draxler.

Well, Emery started the season with a 4-2-3-1, seemed really passionate about it to the point of forcing Verratti as a CAM (which deeply upset him) I think he'll come around to that at some point since he'll have two player capable of playing in the hole (he'll do almost everything to make it work but let Hatem play there). Matuidi days as winger are over, that's for sure.

I'm really curious how Draxler will fare with the talent PSG have, he's never been so well surround before, NT included.

I did not get to see PSG too much in the 4-2-3-1..that is interesting moving Veratti to such a position, it seems he was/may try to make Veratti like Banega was used at Sevilla, a free AMF that moves back into a CMF area as fullbacks and wingers flood forward - in this it would make perfect sense for Draxler to operate as a false winger that will drift into the centre being more of an AMF, and a SB giving the width, like Vitolo did in Emery's 4-2-3-1 scheme at Sevilla, Emery's favourite formation in the past.

The whole 4-3-3 looks to be out of necessity, with Matuidi pressed into being a LWF - whenever I seen them this season they don't even play like an Emery side (when they did, they often struugled and drew matches) - the style still looks very much like PSG were in the past few years in the Champion league, I barely see Emery's stamp on the team.

yeah, the 4-3-3 is a Blanc leftover, the players were more familiar (at home) with it, that's why he went back to it, I think. Verratti in particular likes that formation because he's allowed to spread his game over two different key areas for PSG.

I don't really know what an Emery side looks like, I've seldom watched Sevilla while he was there, but this Paris side looks uninspired and extremely pragmatic in comparison to what it once was. I stopped watching them when he decided to drop Trapp, that was the last straw. From what I've seen so far Emery looks like the kind of coach who prioritizes his plan before his players, and I despise that. To me a good coach should always look to make the best of his players, not shoehorn them in pre-made concepts.
