INFO:

Perfume Roberto Alfredo was born in Sarandi, Buenos Aires, October 3, 1942. Began to have contact with amateur football in 1957 on the computer "Pulqui" in his neighborhood. In 1960 he debuted in the fifth division of River Plate. Later he joined the staff of Racing Club de Avellaneda. At the Academy debuted in January 1964 in Santiago de Chile versus Flamengo. In the beginning he was driving, but reserve Racing began playing second central marker on the left.

His debut in the First Division was in the hands of Nestor Rossi against Ferro Carril Oeste and lost 1 to 0. Racing proved to be in one of the best defenders in the country to win successive Argentine championship, the Copa Libertadores and Intercontinental Cup. In all these tournaments figure Roberto emphasized above that of their peers and their actions deserve any praise. Undoubtedly much of the blame for their huge projection football was the arrival of Juan José Pizzuti (the technician) put it right and it became the best zaguero. After experiencing the best moment of his career, he had the worst: in 1969 was prepared with the selection of the playoffs for Argentina World 1970 in Mexico and Peru was finally eliminated by an unfortunate afternoon played at the stadium of Boca Juniors. That's unexpected elimination left him marked with a deep depression.

In 1971 he went to Cruzeiro in Brazil, where he was champion of the tournament on three occasions and on one occasion Mineiro Champion Cup Mina Gerais. Stayed for 3 seasons in the whole Brazilian and 1974 returned to Argentina to play soccer in the ranks of River Plate. River lived in his later years as a professional. Coincidence or not, the fact is that his return to the Estadio Monumental coincided with the first round of the Olympic club in 18 years. And managed to win 2 championships with Metropolitanos River and a National Championship. He retired in 1978 at the age of 35 years. In 1981 he began his career as a DT in Sarmiento de Junín in Caula was dismissed for his poor performance, the club suffered a decline in the First "B". After 10 years goes to Racing Club. In 1993, addressed to Gimnasia de La Plata, where he won the Centennial Cup, in honor of 100 years of the AFA. Another facet of Roberto Perfume, himself, is a facet in which the former player and ex technical director is not as well seen by society as Roberto him to begin a trial of a millionaire to climb, which left a verge of bankruptcy to the institution (the entity in question, he had hoped, given the opportunity to begin as head coach), "paying" in this way the trust placed in him.

Yeah, MauroBetax absolutely right, we should make a Basile-Perfumo update. Perfumo himself said that he hated hit the ball with the header, also he said that Basile was great in heading. So, I think for Perfumo would be good: HEAD 77; JUMP 85. Suggestions about Basile I will make in his topic.
