Juliano Belletti signed a three-year contract at Stamford Bridge on the 23rd August 2007. The right-back moved from FC Barcelona for an undisclosed fee. The 31-year-old is most famous for scoring the winning goal in the 2006 Champions League Final against Arsenal when he came on as a second-half substitute. It was his first goal for Barcelona. He is a traditional Brazilian full back who loves to get forward and run with the ball. A very handy buy for Chelsea although it looks to be a temporary one.
I know he can spank a ball but is he really anywhere near on the same level as Huddlestone on 90? He'd be a point ahead of Lampard. Babel, Ronaldo and Rooney. I just think there's no way he consistently strikes the ball that hard.
Alf Ramsey: "I'll be watching you for the first 45 minutes and if you don't work harder I'll pull you off at halftime." Rodney Marsh: "Crikey Alf, at Manchester City all we get is an orange and a cup of tea."
when he has played of late he's has been slow and sluggish and actually his passing/shooting has been quite woefull and theres is no way he still warrents a response of 81, he has got the reactions of a disabled banana of late
