xeneize wrote:i'm agree about speed, to me with TS 76 could be fine for him
about DS i'm not sure, maybe is fine whit the actual value
about MENT, i'm disagree, i see him in teh matches whit "commitement to recover the ball"...
i didn't realized his MENT was decreased, whit this STA/MENT is fine

agree in IT: D

No Franco, really his MENT isn't that good, as I said before he runs the whole match because of his nice STA. He hasn't a great brain. Compare him with others Argentinian DMF's:

83 Germán BASUALDO, Marcos RIVEROS
82 Cristian Raúl LEDESMA, Esteban GONZÁLEZ, Juan Manuel TORRES
81 Diego CASTAÑO, Fernando GODOY, Guillermo FARRÉ, Matías CARABAJAL, Matías ESCOBAR, Nicolás OLMEDO
80 Cristian ERBES, Cristian PELLERANO, Enzo KALINSKI, Franco RAZZOTTI, Jorge ORTÍZ, Tomás COSTA

Look well the ranking. He never was a hardworker, he's more similar to a CMF, with slow movements to carry the ball and try to distribute the ball. In those things he's excellent, his passing IMO could go up few points, but he never was a hardworker. Compare him with for example Castaño, Godoy or RAZZOTTI, he can't be at the same level, really. Those are hardworkers, Gago not, his characteristics are others. He's a well DMF, but is similar his style of playing to a CMF, Battión's style?

sorry, i see bad, i believed he had 81 (who i think is the value for him)
and razzoti is underrated in MENT to me victor...

Well I was testing something like this:

IT C
TS 77
DS 76
LPA 83
LPS 82
CURL 78
MENT 80
TW 86

Cards:
PPP

The greatest part of the values, are suggested before, I only raised a bit his long pass, wich I think it's a bit low with the current values and TW raised, TW 88 puts him on pair with Busquets and Xabi Alonso, and IMO he's one step behind them.

agree too with the suggestions (with MENT 79, no less) but i'm disagree with DS, with 76 is oging to stay at same level of toulalan, medel or xabi, and he's faster than those player in DS, with 77/78 is fine
and can have 1 or ¿2? points more in SPA without doubts, he can do really good passes with good precision and speed (but his speed is ok maybe), clearly his best atribute and when try to put vertical or "killer" passes he can do it well

*Sliding ? he is great in this aspect, usually all thing that gago is a DM with good technique, and he is a DM with good technique but also is a warrior too, he have a great deffence and speed with a rival and a great sliding takle i thing.

i'm agree about his tackle, but about he's a warrior, IMO he change his style, now is more a DM/CM of "distribution" ("salida") no a defensive and warrior DM, and he have a great speed?
anyway, we need see him, not play so much nowadays
