I think the worst thing he has right now regarding shooting is his ST, is just terrible, he can't even hit the ball with the aproppiate part of his foot lately.

I'd like to ask to people who are constatly following RM and him - in which role he's actually playing? By football-lineups he looks like a CF. Is he more of a SS or a CF to you?

Depends, sometimes Zidane prefer narrow 4-4-2 and than he's a CF while Benzema is an SS, but when they play their "usual" formation, Benzema is a deep lying number 9, and he is an SS, false narrow winger, whatever.

Thank you.
The way he plays now and the style that defines his game probably can’t be pictured in the winger role anymore, isn’t it?

This season he looks like a CF more of SS or LWF

He hasn't been playing as a winger for a long time. Actually I find WF as a secondary position redundant for him, this is even more true for SM. I'm not certain whether his default position should be CF or SS. I think he still kind of a hybrid player in that aspect. TBH I'm very surprised his main position wasn't changed in previous season.

Currently his main position should be (SS), as Fantasista said, Regarding its position, it is certainly a hybrid in that aspect, it still maintains certain behaviors (movements close to the line, crossing skills, etc)associated with what a WF would do but that is not done with a great frequency, this fact mixed with usually knows how to position itself as a CF inside the box, they are combinations that can be replicated by being an SS.

I changed him to *SS originally and changed him back to *WF last year. Because he operates heavily on the wings, cutting in, and making diagonals across the box. **SS is more of an advanced *AM, that drops quite far back into the mid and plays a highly support orientated role.

There is no right for his position, they are all wrong. You can't replicate his movement. SS drops too deep, doesn't go on the wings enough, WF hangs wide too much and doesn't go centrally enough, CF plays too centrally and doesn't go wide much.

I think that the combo of his defence, tw, agression and defence awareness can mitigate the issues you brought up with having SS* as his main position. If it won't be enough we can always make him a CF* with SS as a secondary position. Nevertheless I believe nobody will argue against removing SM.

yeah WF is besides CF the position that helps replicate him the best...all other positions in PES just track back too much, regardless of the aggression stat or the ATT/DEF mentality value. Imo he should remain as WF as well.

@Fantasista surely, i'm removing SMF if everyone is OK. I do agree.
