This is fantastic AB1, I really appreciate you taking the time to add Jupiler League players to the database. I am in the process of adding 8-10 Jupiler League teams to my Option File, and will definitely post more here as well.

I only saw bits of him against Ajax. But are you sure he is this impressive already? maybe you can compare him to the stats made of Mertens?

I've seen Chadli for two seasons with AGOVV and he's been having his major breakthrough since somewhere around the January break last season. Quite possibly one of the most creative players in the JL and it's simply a miracle this guy is still with a JL-club, as he has the qualities to play for some lower-ranked Eredivisie sides.

Mertens, IMO, is a bit underrated. First of all, Mertens is faster than Chadli and secondary, Mertens has a far better shot and passing range than Nacer. Really, Mertens should be updated with Shook's suggestions. Don't forget Mertens moreso played the playmaker role in the centre for AGOVV, whilst Chadli's main position is that of a winger.

Buon compleanno, il pibe d'oro.

He scored a hattrick yesterday, nice job by him. Wonder who picks him up at the winter break.

I have to admit before the season I thought his stats here were slightly overrated. After watching him thus far in 2010-11, I'd say you were spot on AB1. He's been great thus far...and if he keeps it up he'll be plenty updated before seasons end.

Even took some left corner kicks last game...

What about lowering his WFF slightly?
His strongest point seems to be his DA (combined with his agility for his size) if you ask me. What about raising his DA 1 or 2 points?

I would like to give the stats a complete overhaul (also because things as age/club/number/position are wrong/outdated and he doesnt have any cards).

Apparently he's now Moroccan since he played yesterday his first NT match against Northern Ireland.

Friendly match, so he isn't definitely Moroccan yet. He's also spoken with the Belgian national team coach and has said he won't make his decision yet about his nationality. He just welcomed the experience of the atmosphere in the Moroccan NT and will want to do the same for the Belgian NT in the not to distant future, I think.

Also, Fides, please take into account that he's been in great form so far and this could all be him playing on a red arrow. I think it's best to wait until the end of season to make an update for him.

Buon compleanno, il pibe d'oro.

Indeed he needs an update. For every match he seems to be getting better and better! Today he showed that he can also score a nice free kick! :) Boy does he have a bright future ahead of him...

What about raising his MENT? For a WF he tracks back a lot and works hard for the team.

Notes: Scored with a header for Belgium and also took a good free kick which was kept out by the goalkeeper.

I didn't get to see Belgiums match but I read in an interview that some members of the technical staff consider him further in his development than Hazard. Personally I am not so sure if one can say so but to be honest I think Chadli's stats can use some upgrades in terms of ATT, BAL, STA, RES and MEN. I think ATT and BAL could both be 1 or 2 points higher. Chadli is very well capable of finding good scoring positions in the box, something in which he really excels compared to other players his age. Although he is not extremely fast I do see him at TS 83, ACC 82 (remember he is quite a big guy so imo he could use the extra points in ACC). RES should definately be higher, he scores many goals by both standing in the right position (ATT) and responding very well to loose balls from set pieces / crosses (RES) --> RES 82 imo. As he does a lot of defending and tracking back his MEN should be higher, he works hard for the team and never lets down. MEN 81/82 is justified for me. STA could do with a slight raise as he really does a lot of running on the side, with all the tracking back and moving into the box when able I think he could use STA 84. The thing is that Chadli is still very young and his stats have been increased over time as he came from the Jupiler League (like Mertens) but he has proven to be top quality. Also for the NT he has played himself in the team and he does get a lot of playing time as far as I can see. Although the Belgian NT is still not world class they do have a lot of talented players for the forward position so it can't be that easy for a young player like him to make so much impression in such a relatively short time.

Well I guess they meant he is more mature in the way that he defends back a lot more and that he is more of a team player, and he obviously physically more gifted. Will give a more extensive comment on your suggestions (thanks by the way!) later:)

edit: updated
