When I look at his game against Wolfsburg, I think you're right.

Are you really that stupid? Beating a player with positional sense can be incredibly difficult, depending on the calibre of defender you're up against.

"If you are first you are first. If you are second, you are nothing" - Bill Shankly.
"I guarantee fourth place" - Rafael Benitez.

Thank you Vandeach. Especially since Owen has been performing at the highest levels quite regularly and always been above average in almost every performance. And in terms of being active, he is miles ahead of Berba.....then again almost every striker worth his salt is.....

Thats an odd phrase. I'd like to know what other people would think about a minimal raise of 1 or 2 points in attack!

I'm more concerned about how Owen's Speed and SA increases on the last page weren't updated. :?

I'll let Paddy reply to this and then I'll lock the thread for giggles.

i think some stats is underrated:
@BB:
in real life really he has acceptable power to keep his power under pressures even while running so i think for this small man (173*70) value 76 is unreal and 78 or 79 makes him better in PES.

@Tech:
his touches specially on long passes is really good and by 80 he cant show that in PES, really need higher values.

@TS , ACC and DS:
yesterday i saw his third goal against Wolfsburg, really his pace to reach the ball and with the ball was higher than what i see in first post and didnt see deferent between him and Tevez

@ST:
really his this ability should be very low for him, i think still he can shot in bad conditions

Owen's always had pace but the injuries he keeps getting, it's hard to see him in full flow. I wouldn't say he was greatly strong but he can shield the ball. His technique isn't all that great, he can make some good touches though, this could go up a notch

Shot technique 84? :shock: Maybe 94? He has great tech. his chips, and he doesnt need a lot of room to pull off some magic. :P

He does good chips, but I think the one against the Ireland All Stars took a deflection.

Torres has 90 and he can perform some audacious shots from all areas of the attacking third of the pitch. My opinion and the EPL shooting ladders suggest that torres is that he has the best shooting technique in the EPL.
Looking at the ladders:

85: Frank LAMPARD, Steven GERRARD, Dirk KUYT, Carlos TÉVEZ, TUNCAY Sanli, Nikola ŽIGIC, Louis SAHA, Wayne ROONEY, Benni McCARTHY

84: Tim CAHILL, Kevin PHILLIPS, Milan JOVANOVIC, Roque SANTA CRUZ, Michael OWEN, Roman PAVLYUCHENKO, Steven FLETCHER

IMO Owen seems better than all of the strikers at 84, but not as good as the ones in 85
I'd give him 85 Tops.

I agree with that but anything higher than 85 would be pushing it.

I also believe that Response could sit at a 93 Perfectly.
He surely is better than Gilardino and Villa, both on a 90, and on par with Luca Toni, at a 92

P21 - Fox in the Box to compliment aforementioned.

I think 90 is OK just now, Fox in the Box is the PES 2010 version of Post Player - Konami like to confuse people. ;)

@Res:
i dont know about Res but what say always is that when we see 2 player has a similar game reading in real life we couldnt give them same number we should notice their speed stats because higher Res makes players faster.

@TS,Acc and DS:
i think TS 84-85 , Acc 86 and DS 85 are good for him

@Tech:
i give him 84-85

@ST:
i cant forget his chip shots so my idea is at least 86

@BB: i said already.
