Re: Leighton Baines

He's still capable of some sublime performances (end of 2013-14 and around Oct-Dec last year spring to mind), but arguably his biggest strength was his godly combination of consistency, fitness and his ability to avoid getting injured. He's certainly fallen to mere mortal levels on those fronts, whi...

Re: Leighton Baines

Another Everton player who's performances have been on the decline over the last season or so. Again, this set should probably be used for his classic set (though with Form: 8).

I've got a couple of ideas for him, but I'll wait til this one is saved before we start making changes.

Re: Tim Howard

These stats should probably be used for his classic set for season 2013-14 and the 2014 WC. After arguably his best season for Everton last time around, he's really fallen away and become frustratingly inconsistent. A lot of the seemingly little flaws in his game have really been highlighted this se...

Re: Update of phpBB

Is it possible to have the "Recent Posts" option back ? I used that a lot to do remember what needed doing. It seems to have been replaced by a "New Posts" option which only shows new posts since you last logged in. Excuse me if I am being dumb and it is available somewhere else...

You update now and adjust them after ??

Or people could just be patient so that his stats get rated accurately the first time ??

Or even just Side: L.

Also I don't know him that well as a player, but I feel like he's deserving of a raise in Stamina and *Post Player could probably be removed.

Re: Tim Howard

A really underrated goalkeeper. He is by far the greatest USA goalkeeper of all time. His performance against Chelsea tonight was magnificent and his performances in the world cup 2014 was amazing and magical. He saved 16 shots against Belgium the most in world cup history and also he is the reason th...

Can't believe what's happened to him. He used to look so terrible in the u-21 team whenever I saw him play.

Bale was getting past him over the distance though. It was only the lunge that allowed him to get the ball.

Also saw this vid earlier of a nice little run of his from the same game:

Edit: Urgh, I give up on trying to embed the bloody video.

Not sure about those two, but he needs *Reaction more.

Re: Shkodran Mustafi

I can't believe we let this guy go for free  It's only been a couple of years since Everton released him and he's already become a world cup winner and earned himself a transfer to a team like Valencia. For quite a decent fee for a CB too.

I don't have as much of a global view of football as many members on this site, but from my prem knowledge I reckon John Stones could be a good option at CB for this team.

Ah, okay. Just heard he's scored some free-kicks during his short career and gotten a shed load of assists over the last couple of seasons from researching for my fantasy premier league team for next season :P

Re: Manchester United F.C. discussion thread

Moyes is a fine enough manager, but he's just not a trophy winner and that kind of manager is obviously never going to work at United. Bottles it under pressure too often, which mostly accounted for late round cup games at Everton, but I'm sure it was more like every game for a team under the sort o...

Re: Premier League All Stars ★

I'll be the first to admit that I don't have the most well-rounded knowledge of the Premiership (very much Everton-centric), but I've put together a rough idea, with a few blanks, for a best PL 23 based off this season: GK: De Gea, _____ CB: Kos, Mert, Lovren, _____ RB: Coleman, Zaba LB: Baines, Azp...
