Re: Niklas Süle

Any thoughts on his passing stats? He's surely more conservative as a passer if compared to Boateng and Hummels, yet Süle is still quite competent when he has to dictate tempo with his passes. He actually has the ability to put fairly incisive passes from the back; he just does moderately, heavily d...

Re: Daniel Caligiuri

He's been doing greatly this season. He mostly plays as a WF, but he's behaving as a sort of a allrounder down his flank. As I commented before, he doesn't have a blistering pace as in the past, but his determination and commitment to tactics are both priceless. Somewhat similar to Schöpf, but much ...

Re: Breel Embolo

He should just settle as a WF/SMF. He lacks the instinct and effectiveness to play as CF/SS regularly. His power, pace and flair are much more suitable to be used on the wings. He's still unstable and mentally weak; he has plenty of work to do if he wants to enhance his football career.

Re: Joshua Kimmich

I usually don-t meddle with Bayern sets, but it seems Kimmich has some mandatory tweaks to be made. Mainly boosts for ATT, LPA/LPS, and curling.
I'd also lower Agi a bit, just not sure to which extent.

Re: Péter Gulácsi

Gave a small update of him 2 days ago; just forgot to set Form at 5. His progression as a GK has been slow yet steady. He's learnt to mitigate his weaknesses, while still enhancing his virtues (shotstopping, dominating his box for set pieces). He's even improved his outfield skills lately (specially...

Re: Spanish La Liga - Players to be created (updated 07.09.2017)

Just went a bit further with ig tests. DEF has to be slightly lower, like 64 or 65 max. DA 86 may look like a blatant value for a relatively unknown player like Lobotka, but that's like the minimum he usually displays. He's unique among all DM/CM/AM at Celta in the way he gets rid of opposition just...

Re: Spanish La Liga - Players to be created (updated 07.09.2017)

A draft set for Lobotka (Celta). It still needs to be reevaluated. Interesting player overall. Kinda shy when it comes to provide extra offensive depth, but still fairly flamboyant on the ball, great stamina and decent tactical sense. Club: RC Celta de Vigo Name: Stanislav Lobotka Shirt Name: LOBOTK...

Re: Diego Demme

He's a great example of a ATT<DEF; the latter being around 72 or 73. His Aw is more like 2/3 while still w Box to Box. *Covering seems to be a must. I have some doubts about his AGI being as high as this. I still see Kampl as fairly more agile than Demme, not just a single point.

Re: Renato Steffen

Just managed to watch Basel - Man U last night. Steffen really looked like an orange-red arrow form in that match. His first half performance was more into pressing Man U flank players with just moderate offensive approaches. This changed a bit deep into the second half, when he was quite close to s...

Re: Paulo Díaz

Hasn't he played as DM as well?
He's sure a defensive utility player. He's still more comfortable as a CB, but he still does a fairly competent job as RB/LB or DM.

Re: Leandro Chichizola

He's not been so great this season. But there's not much to blame on him, consider how poor UDLP D-Line is playing as a whole. They are mostly conceeding goals from shots inside the box; in the vast majority of them, Chichizola looks so unfortunate for having such a fragile defensive system in front...

Re: Pione Sisto

...Am I the only one who's seen his gradual evolution over his passes? He's not a creative winger by nature; his trait is still his ability to make those sudden, chaotic turns on the ball... But he's certainly making some dangerous, fairly incisive passes this season. Those passes are of rather shor...

The club has received tons of accusations of bribery & transfer spoil lately. How factible are those allegations? Are they really risking their reputation of a never-relegated side?

Re: Christian Eriksen

Already commented this on the Mango chat, but Eriksen plays so much better with a mobile, tactically developed CF ahead of him. You can see that often at Spurs. While Kane has still become a deadly striker himself, his off the ball movement and vision make much easier the duties of both Alli and Eri...

Re: Nicolai Jørgensen

following him only during this season he seems a pure goal poacher and doesn't need this four index cards. A bit slow but with some interesting technical skills. Well, at NT level he's playing as the (nominally) lone target man in a 4-3-3 formation, but he's actually using some of his previous expe...

Haven't watched much of OM this season. But the few times I did, I saw Thauvin shooting quite often from mid/long range.

Those shooting stats look ok on him; maybe he just needs his Curling to be bumped a bit.

For instance, Crouch would be the best of both cases: A crappy finisher on a average day, but capable of peforming acrobatic kicks and volleys with such ease. Actually, he would have been a great Sepak Trakaw player (that volleyball-kind sport on which feet, legs and head are used for hitting the ba...

Re: Harry Arter

His performance against Denmark was very solid, filling the role of McCarthy in a great way. He mostly focused on nulliying either Delaney or Eriksen while still providing some support in the build up play. Considering ROI didn't play with a conventional DM, both Hendrick and Arter played an almost ...
