Dinamo Bucharest nowadays plays a game that's very much built around Bratu's Speed and the partnership for their forwards... the left side is usually more of an AM than SM where as on the right theres your typical SM/Winger type of player

Formation: 4-4-2

------------------------Dolha

Molinero-------L.Goian--------Moti---------Pulhac

------------------N'Doye(DM)----Bostina (CM)

Torje(SM)---------------------------------Alexe(AM)

-------------------An.Cristea--------M.Niculae

Penalties: Bratu
Right Corner Kick: various (Bostina, Bratu, Cristea, Zicu)
Left Corner Kick: same
Short Free kick: Ad.Cristea/ Bostina
Long Free kick: Torje/Cristea
Captain: Whoever's around
Vice-Captain: :?

MVP: Marius Niculae

Other Important Players: Andrei Cristea, Torje, N'Doye,

Nice done. The formation is almost perfect. Minor tweaks needed. Julio Cesar out (transfered to Gaziantepspor).Cosmin Moti will retake his place as the Left Central Defender. Danciulescu is more a SS than CF.He comes from nowhere scoring goals, also feeds good balls to the real CF of the team.

I use Danciulescu as SS too most of the times but right now we can't really tell considering the amount of strikers they have right now. Danciulescu has been a CF together with Bratu but a SS with Niculescu, they both switched positions as well and I don't think that Bostina will keep his place either, N'Doye will probably take over.

SS-Second Striker, and in my opinion Danciulescu is now a SS. Some make confusion about this role, many of my friends belive SS- Side Sriker. I have seen Barcelona's formation , and it could not been more wrong. Those players in the left & right are WF, not SS. Having 2 SS in a team looses sence. Also i don't know if you noticed but Danciulescu can play every role in the middlefield, even DMF (as i have seen him in the match against Craiova).

actually... I know exactly what a SS is as do the guys in the Barca forum. Barca plays with 3 "Support" strikers because they change positions and have a free role, none of them function as regular "central forward"

in the case of Danciulescu... he never played DM  Against Craiova he was a CM because Julio Cesar got dismissed (it should have been Lobont though)... he can play CF, SS, AM and under special circumstances CM and SM but I've given him those positions here ;)

I am not going to argue with you but:

1. Thierry Henry & Leo Messi are way to fast to be second strickers.

"Encyclopedia > Second striker

A second striker is a player in football that plays just behind the main striker. Second strikers, or shadow forwards, are generally flair players and more creative."

I have seen many player as SS: Fredy Kanoute, Rooney , Van Persie etc. and none of them play with another SS in the same time.

2.Danciulescu actualy played DMF after Ropotan was dismissed too. Bratu was left the sole CF, Niculae went from CF to LMF , Adrian Cristea on the Right, as Homei went in RCB possition , Torje taking his place as RB. So Danciulescu was on the center of the middfield , and blocked a few attacks of Craiova untill the end of the match.Adrian Cristea is a very lazy player and could not join to help Danciulescu in his quest for blocking attacks.

Messi and Henry aren't wingers either though nor central forwards so what are they? ;)

they are given free roles and that's what a SS does, its Barca's specialty :)

but back to Dinamo Buc.

I remember that game very well... Ropotan got that red after fouling Firtulescu with that stupid ass elbowcheck - Ropotan as usual

yeah Danciulescu had to defend more than usually but he still didn't really play as DM there... he still tried to start attacks on the occasion...

about Cristea  such a talented fella but yet so lazy and unmotivated... one of the coldest players in Romania and that says alot

so... Cornel Talnar, the actual coach of Dinamo, mentioned that he intends on keeping the 4-4-2 formation but wants to improve the build up play and automatisms which is absolutely vital for Dinamo. Dinamo lacked dynamic players who can change the flow of the game on a higher level due to the pretty static players they used such as Adrian Cristea, Zicu, Bostina and Scarlatache. I'm really interested in seeing what they will attempt to do to change this tendency which basicly cost them the most points. I suppose that they will play with an edited formation where players such as Margaritescu, Alexe, Bratu and possibly Craciun will be integrated.
